Q: 1. Can a dj-style mixer be connected directly to these monitors? Do they need an amplifier or DSP in between? I was thinking about using these for my small home sound system. I have a turntable and a CD player connected to a mixer, which currently feeds into an enormous old Pioneer Digital Signal Processor unit (that gets pretty hot), and I have big old passive event-sized speakers connected to the DSP. I would like to replace the giant speakers with something smaller that will sound good for the space, and I'd *like* to eliminate the DSP unit if possible. But I can't tell from the product info here or on the manufacturer's website if I'm thinking about this correctly or not.

A: These speakers can be connected directly to the outputs of a dj mixer via the two TRS 1/4'' jacks, or the rca inputs on the back. These can also be connected to a DSP units outputs in the same way. Please note, these speakers are already powered by a built in amp, and can not take a connection from a speaker amplifier.

Q: 2. what are the exterior dimensions?

A: The exterior dimensions of each speaker are: 6.9 x 10.2 x 9.3 inches, or 17.5 x 25.9 x 23.6 cm .

Q: 3. is this cable can be use with Sound Devices MixPre-10 II also ?

A: Yes you can use the Zoom TXF-8 TA3 to XLR Cable with the left and right outputs on the Sound Devices MixPre-10 II.

Q: 4. Can I use this to connect the 2 line XLR outputs from a Sound Devices Mix Pre-D to the Sound Devices 633 TA3 inputs?

A: The Remote Audio CA744INL Dual XLR to Dual TA3 Channel 3/4 Input Cable can be used to connect the 2 line XLR outputs from a Sound Devices Mix Pre-D to the Sound Devices 633 TA3 inputs.

Q: 5. Will these work well positioned horizontally instead of vertically?

A: Yes, the CR3-XBT monitors can be positioned horizontally and should work well.

Q: 6. Can I play my Google Nest speaker through these speakers?

A: Yes, it is possible to pair the Google Nest with another Bluetooth speaker such as the Mackie CR5-XBT Creative Reference Series 5" Multimedia Monitors with Bluetooth.

Q: 7. Will this work between a mixing board and an android smartphone? Using an auxiliary output from the mixer

A: No, this cable is intended for connecting a dynamic microphone with the input on a smartphone. Since you will be connecting the output from a mixer, which is a louder line level signal (not mic level), you will need to use an attenuator (level matching) cable that will pad the line level signal from the mixer and make it compatible with the mic level input on a smartphone. If you will be connecting from a mixer's XLR output, you will want to send both the left and right output signals so you will need a cable like the Sescom SES-43DB-# 43 dB Pad DSLR Attenuating Line to Mic Level Cable - 18" (B&H # SES43DBMZ2XJ) combined with a USB-C adapter such as the Apple USB Type-C to 3.5mm Headphone Jack Adapter (B&H # APMU7E2AMA) to convert the 3.5mm TRS plug to USB-C. If you have other output options on the mixer, such as RCA (Tape output), you can use the Sescom SES-43DB-# 43 dB Pad DSLR Attenuating Line to Mic Level Cable - 18" (B&H # SES43DBMZ2P). Please

Q: 8. If i-phone is paired with these in blue tooth mode can I have a speaker-phone conversation?

A: Yes. But only sound will carry over.

Q: 9. How long is the cord? no info here nor at A-T website on length.

A: The headphone cable included with the Audio-Technica ATH-R70x Pro Reference Headphones is 3 meters long.

Q: 10. Will audio software be able to record audio using this, connected to a 2020 iPad Pro with the USB-C port? Has this been tested?

A: No info is available; suggest contacting manufacturer: Website http://www.comica-audio.com/ Email support@comica-audio.com
