The second-focal-plane reticle 60 is ideally suited for precise shooting with the least possible coverage of the target game. The illuminated dot is extremely bright and can therefore also be used for daytime hunting. The brightness of the illuminated dot can be dimmed, making it ideal for night hunting as well.

At the lowest magnification the field of view is at its widest, allowing the hunter to see more of the surroundings in view. In general, a wide field of view allows for rapid target acquisition and provides the hunter with utmost awareness of the complete environment around the target.

The Ultra-FL Concept contains several SCHOTT fluoride glass elements for absolute color fidelity, brightness, and clarity, ensuring the finest resolution of details, even in the harshest conditions and most challenging environment.

The secret behind the precision of ZEISS riflescopes is their ultra-fine illuminated dot and extremely low target coverage. With only a fraction of the thickness of a human hair, the fibre optics system delivers the world's finest illuminated dot—3.3mm target coverage at 100 meters is the breathtaking result. Pure precision for the smallest targets and the greatest distances.

ZEISS T* coating is a guarantee of the brilliant, high-contrast images that you will experience even in adverse light conditions and in the twilight.

ZEISS developed its LotuTec lens coating for riflescopes, binoculars, and spotting scopes to enable a clear and unhindered view in all weather conditions.

Testing demonstrated expected and necessary degree of stiffness, as well as maximum reliability, in terms of shooting stability. The V8 delivers the repeatability required for clip-on night vision accessory optics.

Continuously shocked for 90 minutes, submerged 13' deep for two hours, sprayed for 24 hours with salt water, exposed to -13°F and 122°F temperatures—ZEISS riflescope testing assures performance in the field.

Q: 10. I own a pair of Zeiss Terra ED 8x42 and I do not see any way of screwing this adapter on it. Are you certain they are compatible?

A: So I checked our stock, and you are correct. There is no way to thread this model in between the barrels of those binoculars. I checked other competitor's, and they have this same model stating the same specifications. This looks like a mix up with the Manufacturer. My apologies for that. For your binoculars I would go with the Zeiss Binofix Universal Binocular Tripod Adapter. This would be the compatible Tripod Adapter.Website link: http://bhpho.to/1FIHP3n

Use the binoculars for birding. They fit well in the hands, quality is very good to excellent. The image is very bright and crisp. Focusing is smooth. Very satisfied with these binoculars, excellent for my use. Even though they are 10X I find the field of view adequate and as an eyeglass wearer I find them comfortable. Compared to much more expensive binoculars I found that while you could see a slight difference I did not feel an additional $1000-1500 was worth it.

I use these binoculars for birding. They are exceptionally crisp and bright. The field is sharp from edge to edge. They cost only one-third of what you would expect to pay for the most expensive binoculars, and I doubt that anyone could find fault with the image when compared to the most expensive alternatives. I recommend these unequivocally for anyone who prefers 10 power binoculars over 8 power. I recommend also purchasing a pair of tethered lens covers for 42mm binoculars to use in the field. The supplied plug-in objective covers are too likely to fall out in use in the field.

This is my second pair of binoculars and what a difference. I use them for tracking big horn sheep and birding. These binoculars are unbelievable bright. I can now see details. At first I thought they were a little heavy but after using for the last few weeks I don't even notice the weight. I did try the Zeiss Victory 10x42 at a store before making my decision. Although the Victory are great binoculars they are also very pricey. It does view close-up which the Conquest does not.

These binocs are amazing! Crystal clear, bright and lightweight! Zeiss never disappoints! In addition, they adjust small enough for my short pupillary distance. This is hard to find in this power. The moon and stars look really cool at night too!

I'm enjoying the excellent optical quality and ease of use after much frustration with a pair of pricier Swarovski binoculars.

I really wanted a nice pair of binoculars to replace a lost pair of Swarovski that I loved. I looked at Leica, Zeiss, and Swarovski. I wanted to keep it around $1000 so narrowed down to Leica and Zeiss for 10 X 42. I ultimately went with the Zeiss because they were actually made in Germany (not Poland, Portugal, or Asia). When I received them I was immediately impressed with the quality and finish, they really seem like high end binoculars. The performance is excellent, I was surprised at how clear and crisp the vision is. I had read a few negative comments about the dust cover being loose and I can see what is meant but it doesn’t bother me at all. I can’t tell you how happy I am. I’m a huge Leica fan but I highly recommend these

Just recently returned from a moose hunt in Yukon, Canada. This was my first time using the Conquest binoculars. They worked flawlessly! Very clear, crisp image at relatively far ranges. Prior to purchasing these binos I had tried several other brands (including the alphas) and found these to be the same if not better, but at a cheaper price point. Very satisfied with this purchase!
