This thing is very versatile. Can be used very narrow or extremely wide. Height is nice for shooting low, angled-up portraits so you don't have to worry about seeing the top of the kit. Very sturdy as well. Bag is a nice plus. Pleased with purchase. 5

I've been pretty happy with Photoflex products in the past, and this kit is no exception. It is a very strong and well built system, easy to set up and take down, and the carrying case seems pretty capable as well. I use this mostly for shooting family portraits, couples, individuals, babies, etc. I have also set this up in offices on some corporate shoots as well, and I love the quality and convenience. The crossbar is very solid and doesn't sag much even when extended close to maximum. Do yourself a favor, spend the extra couple of bucks and buy this kit which will last, instead of buying a less-expensive one again and again. As an added bonus, you won't have to worry about a flimsy backdrop support falling on your client! 5

When I opened the box, I know I ordered something heavy duty and this set did not disappoint. All the other stands I have seen border on the flimsy side. This stand is more in line with my manfroto tri-pod than it is with a standard backdrop stand. I really like things that are built to last and I feel this is one of those things. 5
