Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. does it fit on op-tech ?

A: One end fastens to the bottom of the camera; the loop fits over your wrist.

Q: 2. will this fit the latest 13 MacBook Pro?

A: Yes. The dimensions of the notebook pocket are 12.3 x 9.5 x 1.0 and the latest Mac is 12.0 x 8.4 x 0.6 .

Q: 3. Would this fit an 8 x 10 field camera?

A: The interior of the Pro Tec P600 bag is 20 x 14.75 x 4.5" / 50.8 x 37.47 x 11.43 cm, and can potentially take a 8 x 10 field camera (such as the very svelte Intrepid or Svedovsky). Depending on your camera's size, this might or might not be sufficient. Please consider your camera's dimensions and compare them with the specs listed, or contact us for more information and assistance. :)

Q: 4. How much does it weigh?

A: I couldn't tell you right now, because it's full of equipment. But the Specs for the case says it weighs 10 lbs.

Q: 5. how much weight will this strap hold? I have a Nikon Coolpix P900 I want to use it on.

A: A lot. I have a heavier Sony A7riii with 50mm 1.4 prime and it works perfectly. It's built tough, even given the small size. I wouldn't dangle the camera from the wrist strap on a continuous basis when walking down the street, but it will definitely hold if the camera slips or a thief tries to snag your rig. I love mine!

Q: 6. I have often problems when carrying my camera just over the shoulder. Most straps start to slip after a short while. Do you experience this as well with this strap? Or is there some kind of non-slip (rubber etc.) on the bottom side? Thanks for your response.

A: I don't use the strap for over the shoulder. I always carried my camera over the shoulder due to strain on my neck, and then one day my camera fell to the ground. this wasn't good for me or the camera. I found the Less-Stress Ballistic Neoprene Camera Neck Strap very comfortable to carry the camera around my neck. There is no non slip rubber or other material on the bottom side. I suggest that if you carry your camera over your should try to figure out if you can secure it before it hits the ground.

Q: 7. Is this really a carry on? Delta says Baggage must fit easily in the Carry-on Baggage Check (approximately 22 x 14 x 9. and the specs for this case are a little bigger.

A: Carry-on sizes can vary, with external specs of 22.8 x 13.3 x 10.5 it will be within specs for some airlines and outside of the specs for others. Your best bet will be to check with your airline directly about what can be carried on to their planes.

Q: 8. Will this fit a DSLR body like a D500 with say a 50 mm lens attached ?

A: Yes

Q: 9. Would this insert fit the sigma 150-600 verticality? Thank you

A: The interior height of the PRO TEC Camera Insert Bag is 9 inches (22.9 cm), whereas the length of the shortest Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM Contemporary Lens would be 10.24 inches (26 cm). As such, no, I would not recommend the PRO TEC Camera Insert Bag to support a Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM Contemporary Lens vertically.

Q: 10. Is it soft or hard. Like a pelican divider feel or does it fold if there is nothing in there?

A: The PRO TEC Camera Insert Bag would be a soft padded insert.
