The 72mm Adapter Ring for Swift System Filters from NiSi is made for use with the NiSi Swift System. It allows a filter designed for the NiSi Swift System to allow filters to be used directly on the lens without the need for using the NiSi True Color 1-5 Stop VND (Variable Neutral Density filter). The Swift Friction Mount System filters attach to the adapter ring simply by pressing them onto the front of the adapter. This 72mm ring is made of aluminum for durability.

A: This solution works if you're not attaching the adapter ring with a step-up ring to a wide-angle lens. I your lens is 18mm or wider on a full-frame, you may get vignetting on the corners. You should buy the wide-angle adapter rings for any wide-angle lens you have and cheaper step-up rings for your other lenses. Of course, this isn't as convenient as having an adapter ring on every lens.
