A: Why would you want to burn 3D content to a DVD? The only reason I can think of is that you have no Bluray burner. Is this correct? If so, you probably should buy a Bluray burner since I am not sure about the answer to your question having not actually tried it. Additionally, don't expect to be able to burn the data from this camera to anything without buying additional software like Sony Vegas Pro or equivalent. However, the software which comes with the camera definitely indicates it needs a Bluray for 3D, even though I was unable to get it to work, even with Sony's help. I was greatly disappointed to find out that the software that came with the camera did not allow me to burn my 3D footage to anything. I had to buy Vegas Pro in order to get my footage into formats I could use. Now, that being said, it is theoretically possible to burn the 3D footage to a DVD using the side by side (SBS) capabilities of various software. You could even take the SBS video files and simply load them onto a USB stick in a format that your player or TV support. Then in the 3D settings, you would choose SBS for the format and the TV should be able to display the movie in 3D. Other than the software limitations, I truly do like this camera. You can even use stills taken from the video footage to make 3D images, even though the camera docs indicate that 3D stills are not possible. I hope this helps.
