The CameraRibbon QRC Shoulder Rig Camera Support for Canon C100, C200, and C300 Cameras is a lightweight and compact padded shoulder support. The support is made from a single strip of 2" wide and 1/8" thick aluminum strip. The QRC rig takes the strain off the camera operator's wrist, hands, and back with a counterbalanced and padded shoulder support. It features a sturdy 1" diameter, solid aluminum, rubber-covered handgrip. A small vinyl-covered lead counterweight is mounted low on the back of the support for counterbalance.

The rig's design allows four points of contact with the operator for stable handheld shots while maintaining a comfortable and balanced posture for the videographer. The included standard-length quick release plate features a 1/4"-20 mounting screw. The QR plate adapter (mounted on the support) features a locking lever, safety release, and two accessory mounting points—one 1/4"-20 and one 3/8"-16. The QRC includes hook-and-loop adhesive so you can attach a wireless microphone system to the rig. The included counterweight balances the camera on the rig; an available second counterweight can be added to counterbalance heavier loads such as when using accessories.

Q: 2. Wondering if a c200 would work on this rig as well? I have a c100 and want to upgrade to a c200 but have several projects that will happen before that upgrade, wondering if this would fit both just fine or if I'd need to make a switch.

Q: 3. Can you make this a non-offset shoulder rig if you wanted, with just one set of rods? The reason I ask is if I could use the offset for my c100 (rear monitor) or one set of rods on my shoulder for c300 (different monitor).

If you already have an OFFSET shoulder rig for the C-100 you can just buy a pair of 18 inches rods and you'll able to transform your rig into one set to use with C-300 camera. To do so, you have to take off the OFFSET bracket and to add the rods so that you'll have the new configuration ready to use with your Canon C-300. But if you're looking for a straight rig (in line configuration) SHAPE already have one that you can buy.

Q: 4. Can anyone recommend what matte box and follow focus to use on this? I'll be running the C100 Mark II.

A: I use the CameraRibbon with a Panasonic HPX-250 P2 camcorder along with a Miller 313 quick release plate mounted to the CameraRibbon and a Miller 489 camera plate on the camera. This arrangement allows me to quickly switch the camera from the CameraRibbon to my Miller DS-20 tripod.

Q: 9. Hi all. When mounting the c100 mark2 , are you able to look through the viewfinder comfortably ? Is it possible with this rig ?
