Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will this work with the sony a-35?

A: No it wont works just for Sony A77II, A7Rii, A7R, A58, A99, ilce6000l

Q: 2. This appears to be a universal flash cord connection. Is this correct? I'm interested because neither Fuji nor Vello have a Fuji-compatible cord.

A: There is no compatibility list for this product; reading reviews of products is always recommended.

Q: 3. I received this item for Christmas and it make a high pitch squealing sound...is this normal??

A: Yes, it is common for the capacitor in flashes to make a high pitch sound during use.

Q: 4. This flash works wirelessly with the sony camera A77 M2?

A: Yes, it will with the X1T trigger.

Q: 5. Will this flash perform high speed sync with the Nikon D90 ?

A: No, this flash does not support high speed sync feature unfortunately.

Q: 6. The directions that came with my flash do not address how to use the ISO or F/stop functions, mode only changes the power factor. Is there a set of online instructions?

A: The ISO and f/stop are set from the camera and are not adjusted on the flash. You can see with those keys on the flash what the settings are but again it is changed from the camera.

Q: 7. Hi! Will this cable work with a Leica Q3?

A: The Energizer Multi-Fit TTL Flash Cord for Select Digital Cameras could be used on the Leica Q3 Digital Camera as a manual center pin flash trigger. It would not operate with TTL.

Q: 8. Does this work with the Sony a7 iii?

A: confirmed to work on the A7iii. i have both.

Q: 9. Does this product allow for the firing of 2 flashes (or one flash and one radio transmitter) at the same time?

A: Whereas most off-shoe cables are designed to allow you to trigger external flash off-camera, as the connector on the hot shoe normally occupies the hot shoe, the Energizer Multi-Fit TTL Flash Cord for Select Digital Cameras would allow you to trigger one flash off-camera connected via the off-shoe cable, while still leaving a hot shoe on the camera's connector for an on-camera fill light. Personally, I would not recommend using both a flash and a radio remote with this cable, as radio triggers typically have slightly different sync timings compared to on-camera flashes. As the off-camera flash is still technically connected via the cable, it is possible the flash on the cable would still be using the camera's sync timing, while flashes triggered by a remote may have a slight delay, resulting in improperly exposed images. While the manufacturer does not cover the use of a flash and a radio remote, if you wish to purchase and test your setup, you may, and if it does not work, you would have until the end of the Return Policy to return the unit for an exchange or a refund.

Q: 10. I have a SONY A58 digital camera. Does this flash fit for it?

A: You would need to use an adapter such as the Sony Multi-Interface Shoe Adapter in order to mount the Energizer ENF-600S Digital TTL Flash for Sony/Minolta Cameras on the Sony A58.

It is a great little strobe especially at this price. It is not really
intuitive so I highly advise you to read all of the instructions on how this strobe works. The Sony camera I have (A-6600) is also part of the 'strobe doesn't work right' question too. Be advised that you have to make settings in your camera to use the strobe. Once the camera settings and the strobe settings agree, you will be on your way to lighting up someone's life. The strobe has the power and more adjustable menus than most people will ever use. The strobe setting is quite good to get the exact amount of flashes and the exact number timed with what your action subject does. The strobe head is adjustable left and right as well as up and down. The built-in light defuser is nice to have especially when using a wide angle lens that needs the wider light coverage. Great little strobe if you treat it well. Pay special attention to not banging the base connectors around. There are a lot of little wires and things going on there that will be just fine if you are gentle with it. Once hooked up, the strobe seems to be quite robust and physically able for pro use.

Works as well as the Nikon for less than 1/2 the price. The radio control has 3 zones and the power can be adjusted via that control.

I looked at the V860, but I didn't need (or want to mess with) the rechargeable battery. This works well for my needs and has full flash features (zoom, HSS, etc.). I love having the ability to sync it directly with my Godox transceiver. The menu isn't quite as intuitive as my Nikon, but for the price it's a great value.

If you are going to stay in one spot, you might as well put the flash on a light stand behind you. It makes it lighter for you not having the flash on the camera.

While I love Sony products, this flash was less than half the price of the comparable Sony Flash. Fits easily on my Sony a7III and works great.

Does the tt685O head rotate 360 degrees?
Yes it does, but it's EXTREMELY stiff when new.

When you install batteries (four AA cells) the cell polarity is not well marked but it is there near the hinges of the battery door between the cell pairs. You may need to look closely with a strong light.

My Nissan Flash was not working and I had to replace it. The cost for a replacement was way too high so I shopped around for a cheaper alternative. I read the reviews on the Godox Flash and it seemed to be a sure bet.

When I received it, put it on my Nikon D5200 and D7500 and it worked right out of the box. Exposure is really good and there are many options that are included in the settings.

I then bought the Bolt P12 battery pack for the flash and I now have a very good system. I am looking forward to shooting many events with the new system. I would highly recommend the flash!
