The Energizer Multi-Fit TTL Flash Cord enables off-camera operation of a TTL-capable shoe-mounted flash unit. It fits into most standard hot shoes and provides an additional hot shoe on the top of the unit. It features a 6' cable with a hot shoe mount for attaching your flash unit. This enables the remote triggering of the flash.

A: The ISO and f/stop are set from the camera and are not adjusted on the flash. You can see with those keys on the flash what the settings are but again it is changed from the camera.

A: This is an infrared remote which requires line of sight at a maximum distance of 350 feet.

I was looking for a better way to use my old flash. For the moment, it only was useful on my hotshoe, but I didn't want to get front-facing flash. I was looking for a good length of cord and this Vello Off-Camera flash cord was exactly what I needed. Now I can take pictures where I can control where I want the flash. While it's no monolight or speed light, this run and gun method works great! 5

I bought this cord with the sole purpose of being able to get the flash off the camera. Some of my shooting involves small items from a greater distance that my ring light won't accommodate. This cord allows me to shoot at the distance I need without the flash being on the camera so the light goes where I need it. 5

I am using the cable to mount my flash on an RRS flash bracket for lenses. The cable length I am using (3') works fine with my A9iii and F60RM2 and F46RM in global shutter mode at all shutter speeds (to 1/80000) same as directly on camera. The first cable I received had an issue where the cable sheath at both ends cracked and broke away but the Vello distributor sent me a replacement free of charge and that seems fine. 5
