A: It does do English. I do not know about other alphabets, but I suppose if you know what the keyboard maps too when using a different keyboard code set, it should function normally. I don't know if they offer one specifically for Arabic, however.

Q: 7. Will this work with a Windows Desktop? If so, what sort of connections features would the desktop need to have for the keyboard to function wirelessly? Thank you!

A: Yes, it will work with a Windows desktop PC. Your computer will need to have bluetooth connectivity.

Q: 8. Any problems connecting this to a mbp retina 2017? My 2015 apple usb keyboard won't connect via a usb hub. I had to use a usb 3 to usb c adaptor to connect to my Micar usb hub.

A: Our Mid 2017 MBP has to be connected using an adaptor (provided) as the keyboard only has a USB type A connector. But the adaptor to Lightning allows use of any of the four ports for the keyboard connection. I ended up using all four ports on the MBP as follows:(1) Power, (2) Wired mouse, (3) Superdrive, and finally (4) a USB-C VGA Multiport Adapter to add an external display plus a USB and a USB-C charging port. My keyboard is connected to a hub off a USB-B hub for keyboard and printer connections. Nary a problem.PS: The mouse is a direct connect making it easier to transport (it is a two button mouse making life easier and goes on the road whereas the keyboard does not).

Most who would want a wireless keyboard with a numeric keypad have wondered why Apple did not introduce this when its keypad-less predecessor was introduced more than six years ago. So, here it is, finally, and it's just what you hoped it would be. There are no surprises, no design glitches or weird stuff to get used to, you just take it out of the box and start typing. If you are familiar with the older model, you will already be at home with it. Good show, Apple! 5

I work for a startup and am in charge of hardware and software, and because we're trying to have design cohesion with all of our hardware, we buy these Magic Keyboards for every new employee. Sure, they're a bit pricey compared to sub-$100 keyboards, but the thinness and design is worth it in my opinion. I thought there's no way it's worth it when I started using it, but it connects effortlessly, types smoothly and quietly, and looks beautiful on the desk. I could definitely see myself splurging a bit and getting this and a trackpad for my home office. 5
