Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. will this work with a Camera as well? Particularly a Sony Mirrorless microphone input?

A: This cable is specifically made to take a typical TRS 3.5mm mic and convert it to connect to a TRRS mic input on a mobile device. It would not be appropriate to connect this adapter cable to a camera, and I cannot guarantee that it will work for that purpose.

Q: 2. Does this work with the SmallHD 702 Touch?

A: Yes, the Kondor Blue Coiled D-Tap to Locking DC 2.1mm Right-Angle Cable (16 to 32") would work with the SmallHD 702 Touch. Also here are the SmallHD D-Tap cable options: SmallHD D-Tap to 5.5mm Male DC Barrel Power Cable (3') BH #SMCBLPWRDT36 • MFR #CBL-PWR-DTAP-BAR-36 SmallHD D-Tap to L-Series Dummy Battery Cable (32") BH #SMDTSLFB • MFR #PWR-ADP-SONYL-DTAP

Q: 3. Will this work with a Zoom H1 output. Into a OnePlus One?

A: Probably - but no guarantees when it comes to Android based products.

Q: 4. There are numerous comments about it working with iOS devices but will it work with Android, specifically Galaxy S9?

A: Technically this should work with Android phones that sport a TRRS jack. Androids are a bit less standardized, so it may be a bit finiky in terms of app compatibility. See other Android related comments on this Q/A platform about this cable.

Q: 5. ok thenim not gonna be able to record from my smartphone then because ive tried with a trs to trs cable and what i get is so quiet you can barely hear it after its recorded.?

A: This cable is designed to take the audio output from a saramonic wireless receiver and send it to the input of a smartphone.

Q: 6. Will this connect an iPhone to a Comtek transmitter?

A: That would depend on the model of Comtek Transmitter. If wanting to send audio from the iPhone to a transmitter such as a m-216, you would not want this cable, but rather a standard stereo mini cable such as BH #KOCMXRC30B.

Q: 7. Will this work with a Blackmagic Design STUDIO 6K Pro?

A: Yes, the ANDYCINE D-Tap to Locking DC 2.5mm Right-Angle Coiled Cable (12 to 39") is compatible with the Blackmagic Design Studio Camera 6K Pro (EF Mount).

Q: 8. Is this compatible with Sennheiser receivers?

A: Yes, this Senal cable is compatible with Sennheiser receivers. You may also want to look at the Sennheiser CL1 cable (B&H # SECL1) which serves the same purpose.

Q: 9. Is this cable bidirectional? Can it be used to send timecode OUT from TC1 to Ext, as well as Timecode IN from Ext to TC1?

A: The Deity Microphones TC-1 Wireless Timecode Generator Box cannot send and receive timecode at the same time via the Deity Microphones C15 Right-Angle Locking 3.5mm TRS to Right-Angle BNC Timecode Cable.

Q: 10. Is there a longer version of this cable? Or a way to extend? I'm trying to use this with DJI Osmo Mobile and it is too short and restricts the movement of the gimbal.

A: I use this with the regular Osmo where the phone is the monitor. Unfortunately, I think any cable you try and use directly with the phone on the gimbal is not going to work because it will mess up the balance, even if it is longer.
