Ideal for studio, film, TV, and especially location shooting, the 5.7 x 3.7 x 1.4" MOLUS X100 Bi-Color Pocket COB Monolight from Zhiyun has COB LEDs and boasts a host of professional features in a very small package. The X100 has a wide variable color range of 2700 to 6500K with high CRI/TLCI 95/97 ratings and dims from 0 to 100%. Color and brightness can be adjusted on the fixture, but you can also make changes wirelessly using Zhiyun's app. A bonus feature is the light's Music Mode which is a recording function that enables automatic lighting control along with music rhythm to create a special atmosphere.

The X100 runs on 100 to 240 VAC current, but with separate purchase of an optional USB-C charging cable, you can use PD technology to quickly power an optional battery for wireless use. Separately purchased accessories include the aforementioned battery and light modifiers.

Again I purchased one of these to try it out. The size per the power output is incredible. The very early versions I am told had loud fans but the company addressed that with a software update and now unless you have it have it maxed out on power it's a whisper fan and better now than some of my big commercial Mole's. But of course 1/4 of the size and weight. The CRI is also better than the Mole as well. With that Bowens mount I can put anything I want on the front with ease. They sync very easily to a phone app, much easier than the aperture lights for less money too. So easy to dial your power needs for set from your phone. Also ...I now have 4 of these so yeah...I like. I really want them to come out next with a 1k to 1.5k please please 5

I have compared almost all the compact LED Moonlights in my studio condition. This one has NO noise. Plus: It has two parts, the light and the controller. Such design is so brilliant and Unique. With every other light, if I need to adjust I have to climb on to a ladder if its on a boom pole. Since this is two-part design. I can easily adjust using the controller without touching the light on top of the boom pole. Highly recommend. You will love it! 5

I wanted a small compact light kit that could be carried in a backpack and this is it. Small and light enough to use a magic are and clamps to mount and without carrying light stands. The ability to power with a USB-C rated at PDR of 100 watt (using a 15') and the battery can be detached or even us a 100 Watt PDR USB-C power supply to run at 100%. Could use a better 1/4 20 mounting solution. They do have a slight color shift a very low power. Not a real problem, set them and white balance. 5

This light is amazing, I use it for everything from video productions to photo shoots. It’s tiny in comparison to my other lights, and even has more power than bigger bodied lights that I use too. The MOLUS has quickly become the first light I go to when setting up a scene. 5

This 100W Zhiyun light is surprisingly powerful. The brightness level is more than enough for what I needed. When you combine that with the portability of the included battery, the reflector, and Bowens mount adapter…this lighting kit is highly versatile and it definitely checks a number of boxes. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a lightweight, “on-the-go”, lighting setup for video and for stills. 5

These lights are very well designed and have absolutely no issues with heat when running then all day at full power. They have 3 separate fans that turn on based on demand. Even at full power the noise from the fans is pretty low. The light output is excellent. The color temperature can be adjusted from a little lower than tungsten to a little higher than daylight. This is not a full color LED. The power draw from the grid is 515 Watt at full power. The apps works pretty well to control the lights. You can create sets and groups and adjust brightness based on that. You can also save presets for any number of lights and recall those with a single button. I have an old iPhone dedicated just for controlling my lights and it's been working very well. Keep in mind, it is Bluetooth based, so range is limited. Overall the light is surprisingly light weight but built well. I am using 6 of them together in my studio and am very happy with them in every way. 5

This little powerhouse is absolutely incredible. Super portable, incredibly bright, and great color control. The included accessories are great, though I would suggest a larger softbox for most shoots. 5
