The MV5C-USB is only compatible for use with Mac OS on a computer and is not compatible with Apple iOS USB-C equipped devices like your iPad Pro. Although the iPad Pro uses the same USB-C connector as the computer, the iOS port uses a different protocol which does not function in the exact same manner as the computer's USB-C port. For now, the only iOS compatible option that Shure offers in MOTIV mics is for Lightning-equipped iOS devices. The MOTIV MV5 (B&H #SHMV5ABLTG) does work with Lightning-equipped iPads and iPhones.
