Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. On the website, Polaroid claims I can run 600 film in an SX-70 with the the flash. Is this true?

A: While I am not certain what you might've read, it is likely the opposite, as 600 film is much more sensitive to light than SX70 film (ASA 640 vs 160). Polaroid themselves recommend an ND filter for SX70 cameras using 600 film so as to not overexpose the 600 film: https://bit.ly/3Jc2aXr

Q: 2. I want to be clear that the battery is in the film pack as it was with the original, correct?

A: Yes, the battery is in the film pack.

Q: 3. Does the SJ-4 filter set sold by B&H include the SZ-3 holder or must the SZ-3 be purchased separately?

A: The Nikon SJ-4 Set includes one SZ-3 filter holder as well as 12 filters in a filter case (four red, four blue, two yellow, and two amber.)

Q: 4. I have a Polaroid 690, and the original discontinued Polaroid film created gorgeous vibrant color saturated and sharp images. Every re-release of the Polaroid film I've tried over the years claims "authentic" Polaroid color, but it's just washed out and shifted to green/yellow. Does this film really live up to original gorgeous Polaroid color?

A: The following is a reply listed on the manufacturer's website in their "Information" (FAQ) section: When Polaroid wound down their analog instant photography business in 2008, a number of chemical suppliers that existed solely to provide Polaroid with chemistry for film production went out of business. And over the course of the last decade some of the chemistry used in film production became unavailable for commercial use. The Impossible Project faced the challenge of reinventing analog instant photography with the chemistry available, and over the past nine years has been gradually improving the processing and quality of instant film. So while we still aren’t back at the 5 minute development time (yet!), that you may remember from back in the day, the new Polaroid color film is the best to come out of the Enschede factory since Impossible took it over in 2008 - with improved sharpness and definition, development time down to 15 minutes and the same quirky, magical Polaroid aesthetic that people have always loved.

Q: 5. Is there any Instax film I can put in a Hasselblad Polaroid bag by any chance? Kind of like Fujifilm fp100c....

A: The Polaroid Color 600 Instant Film (5-Pack, 40 Exposures) is not compatible with the Hasselblad Polaplus 100 Polaroid Film Magazine. This film back only takes instant peel-apart film or pack film, which has all been discontinued. Also, there are no Instax film types that can replace it.

Q: 6. Can this Polaroid 600 film pack be used in a Mamiya RB67 pro S model II Polaroid film back ?

A: I am sorry the Polaroid Color 600 Instant Film does not fit into a Mamiya RB67 pro S model II Polaroid film back. The last to make film that fit was by Fujifilm and it is discontinued.

Q: 7. will this work on a Polaroid Sun 660 camera?

A: Yes. The Polaroid Sun 660 uses 600 film.

Q: 8. Can this film be used in an RZ67 Polaroid back?

A: No, the Polaroid Color 600 Instant Film (Double Pack, 16 Exposures) can only be used in a Polaroid 600 and i-Type Camera. It does not fit into a polaroid back. The instant film that did fit is no longer made.

Q: 9. How many diffusion filters are included in this set? How many gels of each color are included?

A: The SJ-4 kit would come with 4 color filters and 1 diffusion filter.

Q: 10. Will this film work in a Minolta Instant Pro camera?

A: Unfortunately, the Polaroid Color SX-70 Instant Film (8 Exposures) is not compatible with the Minolta Instant Pro camera. That camera uses Spectra film but it is no longer available.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Polaroid Go Color Film is so easy to use with the camera and the photo format is so cute!⁦ It’s like a normal polaroid film, just smaller. I think its super cool Polaroid came out with this Go camera and film. I love the quality the film gives. The pictures give nostalgic vibes and are great for catching memories. It would also be great for kids and teenagers. If you want quick memories with friends/family on the road, these are perfect. A little expensive, but good times are not cheap when it’s instantly printed! I would definitely recommend this product. I was sent this product complimentary in exchange of my honest review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product to try thanks to Influenster. I love Polaroid cameras, and the fun that they add to taking photos. I received a pack of 48 instant photos. I love the bigger pack because everyone knows you can never have too many photos. This film was easy to use and I love how the pictures all came out clear and was not blurry. Like some other photo paper types. The coloring of my photos was very vibrant and true to tone as well. The size of the photos are perfect for storing in a mini album or on my fridge like I do. I definitely will be buying this film pack again.
