Q: 1. will this product fit the nikon Z nikkor 70-200mm f2.8? The larger size seemed to run large

A: The OP/TECH USA Snoot Boot Wide Body (Large) has Exterior Dimensions - ø: 4.5 x H: 8.0" and the Nikon NIKKOR Z 70-200mm F/2.8 VR S Lens has Dimensions (ø x L) 3.5 x 8.66", so it will not fit.

Q: 2. I have a nikon 7100 with 500 mm lens, will it fit in this bag?

A: I use it with my Canon 5D MK III with a 300mm f2.8 L II with hood attached and ready to use. The combination is 45cm (17 3/4 )in length. The diameter of the lens hood is 14cm (5 1/2 . )I can easily roll the closing 3 or 4 times before fastening the clips so there is plenty of room for my needs. There is even room for padding, if needs be. I can, also, throw in a small waterproof bag that holds my CF card holder and some extra batteries. I will take it on its first kayak voyage in a couple of weeks. I took some photos with the combination inside the bag but I cannot upload them in this answer.

Q: 3. Does this fit the Canon 70-200mm 2.8 IS II with the lens hood attached in reverse? How are the filters protected?

A: I sold this 70-200 lens (a less hefty non f/2.8 version) way back. I doubt that the heavy f/2.8 would fit friction-free in this when the huge hood (for the f2.8 II) is also attached backward. Hope this help

Q: 4. Will this fit over a Haida/Nisi filter holder for 150mm square filters? If not, what is the alternative?

A: No, the OP/TECH USA Hood Hat, XXXX-Large (B&H# OPHHXXXXLB) will not fit on a 150mm filter holder. There is no cover for that holder, but you could use a drawstring felt bag such as PortaBrace Soft Padded Pouch for 9" Monitors (B&H# POPMONITOR9) if the filter doesn't protrude from the holder. The recommended option, however, is to remove the filter and holder from the lens because they are fragile.

Q: 5. The Canon shade on a 300 f2.8 measures 5 3/8. Will this stretch enough?

A: Yes this will be able to stretch over the lens hood of your Canon 300 f2.8 measuring 5 3/8".

Q: 6. will a d850 with a 200 -500 f 5.6 fit in the bag with padding ?

A: Yes, it will hold the D850 and 200-500mm.

Q: 7. Will this large snoot boot fit a Canon 70-200 f4? I have just measured my outside dimensions of the lens and I came up with 4 x 8 so it should be close. Any input?

A: You'll want the XL size for the Canon 70-200mm f/4.

Q: 8. what is the actual length ?

A: The depth/length of that hood hat is 2 inches.

Q: 9. AF Nikkor 80-200mm 1:2.8D Do I need a op/tech snoot boot large or extra-large? Wide body?

A: You can use the large size Snoot Boot for the Nikon 80-200mm f/2.8 lens.

Q: 10. Is the bag foldable? What's the least bulky it could get?

A: You should be able to collapse it to a couple of inches and fold it somewhat but it is a pro level piece of gear so it is substantial.
