The 72mm Skyeye Magnetic Black Mist 1/4 Filter from Kase helps to reduce the value of the highlights while slightly lowering the overall contrast, useful for smoothing out and softening facial wrinkles and other blemishes. While designed for use with movies, this filter can also be used for fashion and beauty applications. It adds a misty tone to still and video images. Unlike a traditional diffusion or soft focus filter, mist filters provide little loss of detail across the image.

This filter is made of optical glass and features multicoating for optimal sharpness, light transmission, and the reduction of flare. The coating also resists water and oil, as well as scratches and minor abrasions, making it ideal for use on location in harsh environments. Skyeye filters attach to a lens in seconds using the included 72mm magnetic adapter ring and have both a screw thread and a magnetic option on the front of the filter, which allows using either magnetic filters or standard screw-in filter. As such, with the included adapter and instructions, you should be able to install the above UV filter on the front of your lens.
