Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does the power adapter can be plugged to a 220V outlet?

A: No. 110

Q: 2. What cables do I need and where do I hook My Behringer 800 headphone amp to ?

A: You will need 1/4 cables. The back of the headphone amp is 1/4 TRS cable. This will be put in line to your interface or audio mixer. Most often will be 1/4 TRS on the interface or mixer. Be sure that you won't need 1/4 from headphone amp to XLR on interface or mixer.Think about how far the amp will be from said gear to order, just enough length in your cables.I bought 6 cables since my amp sits on top of interface.Hope this helpsDanny

Q: 3. Any idea how much amplification is added to the signal?

A: AKG lists the nominal output as 680 mW per channel into 32 Ohms.

Q: 4. When connecting two different input sound sources. Can they be mixed to one output? Can you then keep the one input sound going to one out put channel? And the other input channel go to another single out put channel?

A: The Behringer AMP800 features an A and B input. Each headphone output is only able to select a single input source at a time ( A or B). Both can not be combined in this unit.

Q: 5. Will the input B on the back accepts quarter inch input? I see a XLR and a quarter inch jack there.

A: Channel B has XLR connectors. The 1/4 inch connectors are for channel A and the link outputs.

Q: 6. is it possible for a battery to run this unit?

A: Unfortunately no. It must have DC power.

Q: 7. Can this be used on passive and powered monitor systems?

A: Neither. You would connect this to a return on a stage box, either an aux return, or if you have an extra monitor return.

Q: 8. How can I power this from a V Mount battery?

A: You would need a cable such as the LanParte D-Tap to Barrel 12V Regulated Constant Power Cable (17.7"), BH #LADTAP12V, which would connect to the D-tap port on a V-mount battery,

Q: 9. Will this unit drive a 250 ohm headphone with enough power to where I dont feel like I need a higher power amp?

A: This is a professional, studio- quality headphone amplifier that is compatible with low and high impedance headphones, and will have the power to handle 250 Ohm headphones.

Q: 10. How does this plug in to the audio out from my computer?

A: In order to use the Behringer HA-400 with you computer all you would need is and adaptor cable. The adaptor has to be a 3.5mm male stereo for your computer out to a 1/4 stereo male for the Behringer HA-400 input. This is the B&H part number of the cable you will need to make this work for you B&H # HOSMMSPM10. You will find the image attached below.
