Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will the Canon G7020 be able to handle this papers thickness of 13mils?

A: No, the Canon PIXMA G7020 Wireless MegaTank All-in-One Printer is only rated up to 200 gsm, and the Ilford GALERIE Heavyweight Duo Matt Paper (8.5 x 11", 50 Sheets) is 310 gsm. So regardless of thickness, the weight itself won't work.

Q: 2. How many sheets in a box?

A: This includes 25 sheets in the box.

Q: 3. Can I develop films with this?

A: Technically, yes. But for best results, you are significantly better off using actual film developer. Times and results will vary greatly because the concentration/strength/developing time and grain structure will be quite different. You will also have to experiment with dilution for best results.

Q: 4. Can i develop film with this?

A: I have never used this developer on film. It is designed for B&W photographic print paper. I use Rodinal to process my film.

Q: 5. How does this compare to the 2150XL chemistry?

A: Ilford Multigrade Developer (Liquid) for Black & White Paper - 5 Liters is just paper developer. That is optimized for multigrade paer. The Ilford 2150 Developer/Fixer Black and White Print Chemicals Kit 2x(3 liter) is, Ilford 2150XL Developer and Ilford 2150XL Fixer are liquid concentrate chemicals supplied as a kit specifically for use with the Ilfolab 2150 RC table top processor.

Q: 6. Hello , What is this material core size ?

A: This has a 3 inch core.

Q: 7. Is this paper and the photos printed on it archival?

A: To some degree, but to make any fiber bond print truly archival, you need to use the recommended dilution and recommended time in the tray for the brand of rapid selenium toner you have.Use proper ventilation and gloves when handling selenium toner. It gives me migraines even with minimal dilution. Use a surgical mask over your nose and mouth particularly if you have asthma or are chemically sensitive. Art Paper is fun to use, but do watch your selenium timer closely! This paper will give purplish, chocolate brown to reddish shifts the longer you leave it in. Hope that helps.

Q: 8. Does this replace Gold Mono Silk?

A: The Ilford GALERIE Gold Raster Silk Paper has the same surface and thickness as the Ilford GALERIE Prestige Gold Mono Silk Paper so it would be the nearest replacement.

Q: 9. What does the FB stand for?

A: Fiber Based, as opposed to RC = Resin Coated https://forum.luminous-landscape.com/index.php?topic=75439.0

Q: 10. How many pounds is this paper? Do you think it will go through the Canon Pixma Pro9000 mark ii?

A: This paper is 13mil or 310 gsm. It is within the thickness tolerance for the p9000 II.
