A: Yes this will work with any ATEM switcher. It connects via Ethernet.

Q: 2. What does the workflow need to look like to actually control camera? Does it control the camera over SDI?

A: The ATEM switcher has the electronics to control the cameras through SDI feed back to each camera. This Camera Control Panel connects to the ATEM switcher via Gigabit Ethernet.

Q: 3. Will this work with black magic Gen 1 Cinema Camera

A: No it will not.

Q: 4. When it says up to 4 cameras, is that a hard limit or does it have some sort of toggle function to control more?

A: The controller can handle 4 cameras simultaneously. If you have additional cameras you will have to toggle between them.

Q: 5. Can I control multiple ATEMs from this device, say a Constellation 2 M/E, an ATEM mini and an ATEM extreme? Can they be mapped to ME1&2, ME3 and ME4?

A: The Blackmagic Design ATEM 1 M/E Advanced Panel is capable of controlling one ATEM switcher at a time, as it can only accept one IP address.

Q: 6. Have focus and zoom controls been added to this when using an ATEM and Blackmagic studio cameras?

A: Yes, focus and zoom control is available with the Blackmagic Design ATEM Camera Control Panel.

Q: 7. Does this work with Atem Mini Extreme ISO & BMPCC4K?

A: Yes, the Blackmagic Design ATEM Camera Control Panel will work together with the Blackmagic Design ATEM Mini Extreme ISO and the Blackmagic Design Pocket Cinema Camera 4K.

A: The Blackmagic Design ATEM 1 M/E Advanced Panel must be connected a ATEM switcher in order to work .It is not a stand alone unit nor can it work with the Elgato Stream Deck XL.

Q: 9. Will this control a Marshall Electronics CV620 PTZ Camera?

A: The camera is capable of being controlled by the ATEM supporting VISCA protocol and the Advanced Panel. So the panel should control this camera assuming it is connected to an ATEM that supports PTZ. Not all models do. We have not tested this camera but it looks like it should work.

Q: 10. Can this control panel control URSA Broadcast cameras without an ATEM switcher?

A: No. All camera control electronics hardware is inside ATEM switchers. This panel is a control surface that needs to connect to an ATEM for camera control.

Supper fast for the quick edit! It has eliminated the pain in my arm, shoulder and hand with long edit sessions because I hardly have to touch my mouse! It has impeccable build quality. Because of the small footprint it easily travels with my laptop allowing me to edit while mobile, even in the coffee shop. It perfect companion to DaVinci Resolve. BMD hit a grand slam with this concept and implementation! The only drawback was waiting for the order to be filled. The initial supply to B&H a few months out. Kudos to B&H for keeping me informed and patient during the waiting! 5

For the price of a Resolve license you get a free Speed Editor, can't ask for more. Really easy to use and very helpful once I got used to it. 5
