The bundle of SFN5122F Server Adapter and SFM10G-SR 10GBASE-SR Transceiver from Solarflare includes one SFN5122F server adapter and two SFM10G-SR 10GBASE-SR transceivers. The SFN5122F server adapter is an IEEE 802.3ae/802.3ad/802.1Q/802.1p/802.3x compliant adapter. It delivers high message rates and low latency jitter with 40 Gb/s bi-directional line-rate performance. The adapter supports optical and copper SFP/SFP+ modules, direct-attach, Fiber (10G or 1G), 1G/10G combo, and 1000BASE-T SFP modules. It distributes IPv4/IPv6 loads across CPU cores and MSI-X minimizes interrupt overhead with Receive Side Scaling (RSS). Intel QuickData technology uses host DMA engines to accelerate input/output. This server adapter supports data networking with concurrent support of iSCSI and NAS traffic.

The SFM10G-SR 10GBASE-SR transceiver is a hot-pluggable SFP+ device for use in 10 Gb Ethernet links over multi-mode fiber. It is compliant with the SFF-8431, SFF-8432, and IEEE 802.3ae 10GBASE-SR specifications. The transceiver is RoHS compliant and lead-free per Directive 2002/95/EC6. The SFP+ transceiver supports the 2-wire serial communication protocol as defined in the SFF-8472. This low-power module supports OM1, OM2, and OM3 Multi-Mode Fiber (MMF) media with standard LC connectors.

This thing works amazingly well. Perfect to use my Rode ME Mics with my iPhone 15 Pro Max. Otherwise, the only option is to plug a USB-C cable directly from the mic to my phone, which drains my phone’s battery in an hour from trying to charge the mic off the phone’s battery, with no way to disable this feature. I tried other adapters like this that provided dogwater sound quality. This adapter sounds amazing, and works perfectly. My ONLY complaint about this mic is that it’s too easy to flip the TRS to TRRS switch, and if you flip it to TRRS when you’re using a TRS cable on the mic input, then you have no sound. Which i discovered by having no sound for half of a video. But I flipped the switch to TRS, put a drop of super glue on the switch, and now it’s the perfect adapter for use with my Rode ME lav mics, and the sound quality is amazing! 5

I have been struggling to record two audio and was looking for a solution that is not cumbersome and this comes in handy. The casing is made of metal making is strong. i like the control knob and they are not smooth but have a clicking feel while boosting the audio level. another thing is that it was able to give me two channels from my mono samson lavalier mic. I love it. the size is perfect and that price is also good. I don't think it will disappoint, but as usual time is the best measure of durability and performance. as of now am happy with it. 5

The Saramonic SR-AX100 Passive 2 Channel Audio Adapter is exactly what I was looking for to control audio between a Videomic Pro and a Canon EOS 80D, without having to rely on the audio screen in the camera menu. With a visual reference of audio via the "on screen" audio bars on the 80D and the positioning of the control knobs on the Saramonic SR-AX100, I can reliably and visually see what is going on, allowing me to completely replace my video cam with a DSLR. Moreover, the SR-AX100 is solid, made of metal, yet lightweight, and cold shoes to allow me to mount Lav receivers for CH1 and CH2 for precise interview audio control. Two small things though: 1) The control knobs are not completely variable, they increase the audio clockwise in 40 notches of control (yes I actually counted them). 2) No headphone jack to listen to what is being passed through the device, but that's maybe a good thing since there is no report back to the device what is being recorded. So in closing, Great Device, and excellent information from B&H while trying to decide where to pick this unit up. I will need one or two more of them for my other cameras. 5

I bought this bar to replace one (same model) that I'd had for 3 years before it stopped connecting to the TV via HDMI. Interestingly, the new unit sounds far better than the original. The bass is more pronounced and the speech assist is clearer, which helps immensely when I'm watching Masterpiece and other PBS shows. This may be a function of the new HDMI cable I installed as well. I often stream classical music concerts, and both the old and new soundbars produced pure, undistorted sound with great balance between treble and bass. Even pipe organ music sounds like I'm in the venue. If you're looking for an upgrade to your TV speakers and dont require the heavy bass for gaming or action movies, then this is the bar for you. If you need heavy bass, then a bar with an extra subwoofer would probably suit you better. 5
