Mounted on your rifle with 30mm rings, the Spectrum IR uses a 1920 x 1080 sensor, aided by an infrared illuminator, and displays the image on an OLED display—in color during the day or in black and white at night. The scope allows you to capture photos or video and save them with the fast 64GB EMMC onboard storage; other features include picture-in-picture viewing and shot-activated recording. Choose from multiple configurable reticles, zero electronically, and measure the distance to your target with the stadiametric rangefinder. Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will it work with an encoder such as OBS or vMix?

A: yes it will, you will need a capture device.

Q: 2. Does this unit have the AFV (Audio Follows Video) function, or does the audio have to come from a single source?

A: Yes. The following unit does offer AFV "Audio Follows Video" only when the unit is in follow mode.

Q: 3. If I buy a camera with an HD/SDI output will it work with the BNC input on this switcher, or are they not compatible? (I already have this switcher, I am just looking at my options for a HD professional/prosumer camcorder)

A: This is for composite and S-video only. It's for switching up to 4 cameras. We use 4 Sony EVI-D70 PTZ cameras for city council & township meetings. See videos at kittv online videos for quality.

Q: 4. Can the Datavideo SE-500DH record separate input channels to another device? If so, what do you recommend?

A: Unfortunately it will not. That is not possible with this switcher. For ISO recording of each input you'd need to look at Software and Computer Based Switching solutions. The Telestream Wirecast Gear 110 is a great option to consider, BH #TEWCGEAR110. https://bhpho.to/2kPYog8

Q: 5. Hi, If I am filming someone can I show them something off a lap top or iPad and have a PIP with the subject there viewing off the iPad on the monitor with the PIP of the person viewing it in the corner of the monitor?

A: If I understand your reason correctly. The answer is yes. But only if what your asking is what I understand. You can display an image from one medium and pip another image from another medium.

Q: 6. input scaling?

A: Yes, this switcher offers 4 scaled inputs.

Q: 7. Do the machine. Have its own monitor

A: No, you would need to connect to any standard definition PAL monitor using composite or S-video.

Q: 8. Is it possible to split each (or any) of the 2 Video Outputs to get 4 separate Video Outputs so that I can connect to 4 TV monitors with the SE-500? If so, what cables do I need?

A: Hello, hope whoever is reading this is having a good day!!. I was wondering if i could buy the comm system and the screens separately and will they work with the PAL version??..

Q: 9. I take 16:9 feed on my data video SE-500 4- Channel Analog SD Video Switcher and I want 16:9 feed on Moniter . Is it possible ? Please answer ?

A: No, SE-500 cannot output in 16:9. It can only output in 4:3 aspect ratio.

Q: 10. Does this unit support HDCP protected sources like Blu-ray players?

A: HDCP Compliance is not listed with this switcher. You could look at the Roland V-1HD Portable 4 x HDMI Input Switcher, B&H # ROV1HD, instead. It offers HDCP Compliance. https://bhpho.to/2gRuG3C

As of writing this review, I've been using the monitors (bought two) for a couple of weeks now. They are aesthetically gorgeous, and the picture quality is great!

It was a bit frustrating getting the settings tuned just right between my work MacBook Pro and my gaming PC, but once I got it all dialed in, I can't imagine going back.

The refresh rate is amazing, the colors look incredible, the HDR is solid, and the resolution is obviously great.

I'm curious how well these monitors hold up long term, but as of now, I'm very happy.

I read quite a lot of stuff online about Dough/ Eve situation but I decided to give them a chance and purchase this monitor. I couldn’t be happier. Deep colors of glossy coating makes my LG GP950 pale in comparison!
Highly recommend!

I bought one of these from B&H knowing the risk and the company’s previous track. Re it’s. So far, I could not be more happy with this monitor. It gets extremely bright, colors are vibrant, and has a great stand allowing tilt, pivot, and all kinds of adjustments. Very happy with my purchase so far! Would recommend!

As I work from home and casually play PS5 in my free time, this monitor is perfect for me. I love that it works really well with my Mac providing full speed charging and video/data outputs with just a single type C cable. It's also fantastic for gaming because it supports full refresh rate gaming on PS5 with VRR. The glossy really brings out the deeper black and color vibrance. It's amazing and so much fun to explore the wizarding world in Hogwarts Legacy on this monitor. Last but not least, I love the simplicity design and it looks super sleek on my desk. I consider buying a second one to make it dual monitor set up. Highly recommended!

I have originally ordered Spectrum One Gorilla glass monitor from Dough. It has been a great all around monitor for my work from home setup but Spectrum Black with Gorilla glass steps it up to the next level. Inky blacks and reduced reflections are well worth the premium!

I was skeptical about buying this as I preordered off of Eve. Thinking I would get the same treatment IYKYK. However, I got it and it came fast, so far so good with no problems. The color is vibrant, no big logos anywhere and it was everything I was expecting. Might buy a second one or wait for the spectrum black to be sold on this website.

If you are in the USA and want this monitor buy it from here!

Spectrum one has been a great monitor to take center of my desk. It’s the one monitor I use with my PS5/Mac/Windows setup. Type C hub has been especially handy to clear up my desk from extra cables! Glossy FTW

I have originally ordered 2 monitors directly from Dough and later on from B&H. These monitors have been powering mine and my wife's workstations. I run it with latest Mac mini/ PS5 and couldn't be happier. Hope Dough will release IOS firmware updater app.

Best 27 1440P OLED on the market hands down, gorilla glass gives it so much clarity while reduces glare and reflections a noticeable amount. Needed a firmware update because of issues with Fullscreen games upscaling to 4k 120hz and reducing refresh rate but other than that every other aspect of this monitor is perfect. Got mine used for 600$ because of some minor gaps in the back plastic behind the display, totally worth it. Significantly brighter than other monitors with the exact same LG panel, and the OSD works great with a lot of OLED care options. I would never EVER order directly or even pre-order from Dough/Eve, but Amazon/B&H ARE solid distributors. Threw it on a cheap 25$ monitor arm and I won't be upgrading unless Dough releases the rumored 4k 27 variant next year.

Only real issue is the text clarity that comes with ALL 1440p OLEDs but disabling ClearType for Chrome only, solved my issues, passable text in chrome and on windows. Some people report sensitivity to PWM-controlled brightness and I thought I did too but I just had to reduce my whitepoint and that removed all fatigue.
