A: The warranty included with this lens would be valid for the USA only for 1 year against defects. We do offer protection plans from Squaretrade in 2 or 3 year increments which cover the lens against accidental damage. Those plans can be compared by adding the lens to your online cart.

A: We do not offer any detuning services, so if you wish to detune the Atlas Lens Co. 1.4x LF Extender (PL Lens to PL-Mount) you would have to find a detuning solution elsewhere.

Q: 3. Can this be used with the Atlas Mercury on a super 35 sensor camera like the RED Komodo to achieve a full frame field of view?

A: The Atlas Lens Co. 1.4x LF Extender (PL Lens to PL-Mount) increases focal length in order for Super 35mm lenses to function with full frame and larger sensors. It will NOT expand the field of view for super 35mm sensors. For example: "Equivalent Focal Lengths: Orion 21mm + 1.4x expander = ~29mm" It expands the focal length of a 21mm to 29mm, but allows the Orion 21mm super 35mm lens to work on a full frame, but at a 29mm focal length.

A: The Canon 8-64mm T2.4 Super16 does have a PL mount and could connect to the Atlas Lens Co. 1.4x LF Extender. However, Atlas says - Compatible with ARRI LF, Sony VENICE, RED V-RAPTOR, and VistaVision cameras

Q: 8. does this work on non sony cameras as well?

A: The only E mount cameras that are available are made by Sony. So to answer your question, no, this lens will not work on a non-Sony camera.

Q: 9. Will this work on a canon 400mm f/2.8?

A: Just so you know, this works in conjunction with a case such as a Kinesis L622 PolyCore Long Lens Case 600 B&H # KIL622. That case, as is, is listed as being able to take a 400 f/2.8 lens plus camera. As such we do not think you need this insert for such a lens in that case.
