Designed to securely hold smartphones in place for photography and videography, the black PS-4 Multi-Functional Foldable Cellphone Stand from Leofoto has an adjustable clamp that can fit devices ranging from 2.56 to 3.54" in width and rotates 360°. The clamp not only has a soft rubber lining on its interior that helps protect your device from slipping out of place and being scratched, but also has pressure that may be adjusted according to the thickness of your phone. Thanks to an integrated cold shoe mount on top, you'll be able to attach accessories such as lights, mics, or external monitors, while a female 1/4"-20 threaded hole lets it be mounted to a tripod or other compatible accessory. When folded together, the base of the stand forms an Arca-compatible dovetail, which may be mounted on a ball head. Or, extend the legs so it can stand freely on a flat surface. Built using CNC-machined aluminum, the PS-4 is small and lightweight, making it easy to carry in your pocket or camera bag.

I will keep this little gem in my camera bag, along with my Leatherman multi-tool. This multi-tool has most of the keys and blades I need for my Arca plates, L-brackets and tripod screws. There are a few very small hex screws, for example the stop screws on my Arca plates and L-brackets, that this tool doesn't have a key for, but it does have tools that will work for 90% of my needs. I especially like the flat screw driver blade that is the perfect size for those dual hex/ slotted screws on my Arca mounting plates. Sometimes the hex part of these screws can get worn out/ rounded over time, and this flat blade is the perfect backup for these screws. I like the little cloth pouch that comes with this tool. It has a nice little draw string with a standard sliding/ locking dongle for keeping the pouch closed. Also, you will notice in the picture that the tool has a little eyelet on one of the shoulders. You could optionally run a small nylon cord or metal wire through this eyelet if you wanted to attach, for example, a small carabiner to carry the took on a backpack or something without the need for the pouch. I have read some reviews about the tool becoming loose and floppy over time. If this does happen to me, I'll probably unscrew the shoulder screws, add a drop of blue (lighter) Loctite, then re-tighten. This should, I would think, help to keep the tool screws tighter for longer. So far I've not had an issue but then I only have had it for a couple days. Overall I really like this handle little tool. 5

Several times a year I travel to the Las Vegas Convention Center. I use a camera cage with a left-side handle. By midday, the hex screws on the handle start to loosen a bit. That's where this tool saves the day. It has standard size hex keys (and other tools), and it's small enough to fit in your pocket. The best $20 dollars I've ever spent. 5

If you use a tripod, a tripod plate, or an L bracket on your camera, it's a tool that you will be glad you have with you even if it's rarely needed. Better to have.......... 5
