The black SE730 Protective Equipment Case with empty interior and plastic keyed locks from Seahorse is watertight, airtight, and crush resistant. This case has an automatic pressure purge system with an O-Ring to ensure a tight seal. This valve automatically activates upon closing the case and the pressure is released when you open the latches. This case has molded-in padlock holes that can accept TSA standard padlocks. There are four internal mounting bosses in the bottom of the case which use 1/4" self tapping screws.

A: Although designed to hold the Zoom H5 recorder, the Zoom PCH-5 Protective Case for Zoom H5 Handy Recorder will likely accommodate the Zoom H4n Pro as well. Both recorders are of similar dimensions and form factor.

A: There is a belt loop in the back of the case. Just threads through your belt with mic's facing up. The ring at the bottom is key ring mount.

Q: 6. Is there space to have headphones plugged in while still keeping the case sealed?

A: YES, however this will require that you source headphones or ear buds which terminate using a plug with a 90 fitting. Not difficult but be aware that the majority end with straight plugs.

Q: 7. Does the back open up and allow access to the 1/4 20 hole? I sometimes use the H6 mounted to the hot shoe on my DSLR via a Manfrotto mini ball head.

A: Yes, there is access to the 1/4"-20 mounting hole when the bottom panel is opened.
