Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will this lens cap fit my RF 50mm 1.8 lens?

A: No, this lens cap will not fit the RF 50mm 1.8. The lens cap you are looking for is the Canon E-43 43mm Lens Cap.

Q: 2. Will this fit a Powershot sx510 HS camera?

A: Unfortunately, no. The SX510 HS does not take a standard cap size.

Q: 3. Will this cause vignetting on the Fuji 23mm 1.4?

A: Typically, lens hoods such as these will cause vignetting on wide angle lenses that are wider than 28mm. However, this hood will not cause vignetting on the Fuji 23mm 1.4 if you match up the shallowest depth of the hood to that of the original Fuji hood included with the 23mm lens.

Q: 4. I just lost the lens cap for the 18-150m lens that came with my Canon M5. Will this lens cap be a good replacement?

A: The 49 mm lens cap fits on my 50 mm lens. Your lens cap would probably be larger, as my similar lens cap is 67 mm.

Q: 5. Does this fit the series II as well? The standard cap on my II doesn’t work well without the hood. Looking for something that will still protect the lens without having to pack the hood as well...

A: For the Series II lens, you would need the E-185B cap. We do not have that cap.

Q: 6. Does this fit 62mm filters?

A: Hi DerekI wouldn't recommend this lens hood I'm afraid.cheersJanice

Q: 7. Will this fit the Nikkor AF 200mm f4D ED Micro lens? I lost the front cap. Thank You.

Q: 8. What size lens cover do I need for my 50.8 mm

A: If you have a 50mm 1.8, then yes, it takes a 49mm cap.

Q: 9. Will this 49mm cap fit the Canon FD 50mm 1:1.8 lens?

A: The Canon FD 50mm f/1.8 accept a 52mm cap such as the Canon E-52 II 52mm Lens Cap, BH # CALC52. http://bhpho.to/2KskqDd

Q: 10. Will this cap fit well with Z mount lenses?

A: It depends on the lens. If the lens accepts 62mm filters this 62mm lens cap will work.

I lost my original lens cap while on vacation. This was a quick and easy way to get it replaced. Exactly the same as the one that came with the lens.

The mechanical advantage given through the ability remive the lens cap from the front of the lens allows ease of oper atio while the R1C1 flash ring is in place. This is a great advantage over lens caps with mechanisms only on the external borders of the cap.
