Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Could it be used with Zoom -teaching virtual fitness classes while plug it to a Mac lab top? I will use music background from other sources as well. Thanks.

A: You can, however this microphone is effective up to about 3 feet or so from the subject. Please give us a call at 800-606-6969 and a Pro Audio specialist will be happy to help you find the perfect solution.

Q: 2. Does this need to be plugged directly into the computer - or - can it be plugged into my USB hub?AND...if it CAN be used via the USB hub, does that affect the audio at all? Is there a delay of any kind?THANK YOU.

A: I haven't test it out yet. But all I know is that the USB is just a power source to turn the mic on. So it might work with a hub. Or even a wall outlet that supports USB.

Q: 3. What is the Signal to noise ratio?

A: The manufacturer has not provided a specification for the signal-to-noise ratio for the microphone, but they have provided the signal-to-noise ratio for the mic's built-in headphone amplifier which is listed as 114 dB. Here is a link to the complete manufacturer's product details for the Blue Yeti Pro (scroll down towards the bottom of the page to view the full list of specs): https://www.bluemic.com/en-us/products/yeti-pro/

Q: 4. Does the JLCooper ECLIPSE-MXL2-MIDNIGHT have function keys for accessing banks?

A: yes it does have keys to access the banks on the unit

Q: 5. What is the diameter of the mic itself?

A: The mic itself is about 3 inches, but if you take into account volume and gain controls, then plan of 4 inches for packing. The base is about 4-3/4 inches

Q: 6. What adapter can I buy to hook this up to my Imac?

A: The included cable for the Blue Yeti USB Microphone has mini-USB and USB Type-A connectors. If your computer has a USB Type-C port, you can simply use an adapter like the Pearstone USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A Female to USB Type-C Male Adapter (B&H # PEAAFCM) to convert the plug or use a cable like the j5create USB 2.0 Type-C to Mini-B Cable - 6' (B&H # J5JUCX10) or the Tether Tools TetherPro USB Type-C Male to 5-Pin Mini-USB 2.0 Type-B Male Cable - 15' (B&H # TECUC2415BLK).

Q: 7. Will this microphone work with a Zoom H4n?

A: Yes it will. Connect via the included XLR cable.

Q: 8. Can this microphone be mounted on a standard mic stand?

A: There is a 5/8- threaded female connector on the bottom of the Blue Yeti. The desk stop stand can be removed and the microphone can be screwed onto a standard mic stand. The Blue Radius III Shockmount for Yeti and Yeti Pro USB Microphones, BH #BLRADIUS3 can also used to protect this sensitive condenser mic from unwanted vibrations..

Q: 9. Does it need a pop filter or is there some foam inside the screen?

A: The Blue Yeti USB Microphone does not require a pop filter, however you can use one if you are encountering more wind noise and plosives in your recordings.

Q: 10. Will this work with an older Miller 80 Tripod?

A: We're afraid not. This is specifically for the 402 and 420 Tripods. So that we may best assist you finding the proper product for your needs feel free to email us directly at askbh@bhphoto.com.

Literally never take the time to write reviews but am doing it for this because I've spent the past few weeks looking for a paper trimmer that can cut 13" paper. All the ones I saw online were mostly for 12". Ordered two off Amazon, one guillotine trimmer and one basic 15" trimmer. The first wouldn't cut neatly and dented the paper where it did, the second tore it on the edges and had a stupid saggy guard that you have to push hard on to get it to work which ended up ruining the paper even more.

This one just arrived today and after cutting a few times I am extremely happy with it so far. I haven't tested it long term but after trying to find one for a while I'm very impressed so far and cuts very clean edges, also kind of an ASMR type cut. Again I NEVER write reviews and always have a hard time knowing which ones to read cause a lot of people just have different experiences with it. But I'm loving this product and will definitely be buying future stuff from here because I'm tired of making the trips to return stuff lol.
