Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. would my canon 70d fit in this bag?

A: Internal dimensions on this bag are 14.5 x 3.0 x 12.0 (36.8 x 7.6 x 30.5 cm), which should be sufficient to fit.

Q: 2. Does this work with a Bird Dog P200? I got Comms Lite to work with a Flex 4K IN but not a P200.

A: Yes, this will work with BirdDog P200.

Q: 3. Are the interior padded dividers movable (i.e. velcro attached)?

A: Yes the padded dividers inside of the Kinesis A634 can be moved around.

Q: 4. Can it hold a Nikkon D789 body and a 24-120 lens?

A: It may be a tight fit, and while the camera would work best when disassembled, yes, you should be able to fit the Nikon D780 DSLR Camera Body and the Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 24-120mm f/4G ED VR Lens inside the Kinesis A634 Reporter's Waist Pack.

Q: 5. Will this hold a Sony A7-4 with a 24-105 lens attached?

Q: 9. What's the difference between the f-802 and the f-803?

A: The F-802 is quite a bit larger than the F-803. The front pockets are bigger, and the 802 will take a 15 laptop, compared to only a 13 max in the 803.The 802 has no internal padded compartments, whereas the 803 has a single square tall compartment. the 802 also has a separate front divider between the front pockets and the main compartment.I use my F-802 for my 15 macbook pro, and an iPad Air II, + charger, cables, etc. The F-803 is for m4/3 mirrorless camera(s), and a few small primes

Q: 10. Is the bag water-resistant at all? What kind of material is it?

A: Kinesis A634 Reporter's Waist Pack is made of a durable nylon canvas type fabric. It is not waterproof but it is water repellant/resistant.

I use this bag to carry my notebooks, camera and misc items to work everyday. It is a well made no-none sense bag. The only odd thing about it is how different colours are sold at different prices. This wasn't the case a few years back.

I have a dozen or so bags, but I hit a home run with the 802--finally. With the Pro digital 2 photo insert, I carry around my camera and have room for daily papers, iPad or macbook, with room to spare. Every day someone comments on my cool looking bag (in sand color). I bought a national geographic pad for the strap (ng 7300)to make it slightly more comfortable, although I really didn't need it, but it was only $bucks. I agonize over bags and returned an ONA Union Street in favor of this bag at half the price. Reasonable price, high quality, stylish. It's me.

Sturdy and perfectly built to carry a 15 Macbook Pro inside a protective sleeve. Front pockets ideal for hard drives, headphones, and cables.

This is just one of the best camera bags I have ever owned. The material is top drawer and is quite thick. The stitching and overall build quality is really nice too. That being said, in terms of function, it excels quite nicely.I recommend the Tenba Pro Digital 2 Photo Insert for this bag as this particular bag does not come with any inserts.I fit the following camera/accessories into this bag. It fits like a glove!Nikon D7100 + 18-105mm VR70-300mm VR60mm Nikkor MicroSB600 SpeedflashBattery ChargerManualsPolarizers and other small accessories.Overall, I great solid USA made bag. Much better than any cheap China import out there.

It's made of stout, high-quality canvas that'll last forever and improve with age. Unlike nylon bags, it won't slide out of place but instead stays where you put it. The shoulder strap is comfortably wide and reassuringly strong, and the rubber woven into it keeps the bag on your shoulder. The handle is stitched and riveted to the flap, which also has a stout insert for rigidity. It's well laid out, with pockets large enough to be flexible (they'll hold a Canon 5DMkIII body). The main compartment is perfectly sized for a 15 Macbook in a soft sleeve. There are loose straps and buckles at each end for securely attaching Domke's accessory pouches (like the F-902) or other items. To provide a little more protection, I put a bit of impact foam in the bottoms of the main compartment and the big pockets, and I never have to worry about setting it down. This is a great bag, and I've been very happy with it.

Having used Domke camera bags for my photographic needs, when I wanted a new messenger bag for daily use (carrying MacBook; files; other essentials), I looked through the Domke offerings to see what they had. The F-802 looked like the ideal daily carry bag: perfect for the computer, files, iPad, and other essentials - along with the option to use it to carry a camera body and lens if required. Note: this bag does NOT come with any Domke inserts (none are listed in the description), so if you want to use the inserts, you do need to purchase them separately. Several reviews I have read complained about the lack of inserts, but since the description of the bag does not include any mention of inserts, I did not expect to receive any. The bag is a bit taller than I expected, but that is not a problem. The dual pockets on the front carry a lot of miscellaneous items, without adding bulk to the bag. The padding inside is fine for my daily carry items (including an iPad, my notebook, and file folders), however I do use a computer sleeve to protect my MacBook when carrying it in the bag. The bag does have padding on the sided and bottom, but not quite enough to suit me when carrying the computer. Without my office stuff, I can fit a pro body and a couple of lenses in the bag, using a Domke 2-compartment insert if I need to use this bag as a dedicated camera bag instead of carrying my F-2 or F4AF Domke bags. However, the F-802 works basically as a messenger bag for daily use (i.e. no camera equipment inside). The construction is great - heavy canvas, somewhat rigid, but not too rigid. The gripper strap is great, and does not slip off my shoulder. I did notice that the fabric seems very similar to an older Domke F2 that I have, as compared to one of the newer Domke bags. Not sure if they changed the fabric they make these out of or not, but the F-802 is much more substantial than the recently purchased F4AF bag I have.
