This drone comes with one year of DJI Care Enterprise Basic coverage, which includes two low-price replacements.

DJI utilizes O3 transmission for stable communications, piloting, and live video stream between the RC Pro Enterprise controller and the Mavic 3. Using this technology and quad antennas on the controller, you can pilot the Mavic 3 from up to 9 miles away.

To complete its missions, the Mavic 3 needs to survive the trip. That's why DJI incorporates omnidirectional obstacle avoidance, which uses wide-angle lenses to give the drone zero blind spots as it automatically avoids potential crashes. You can adjust proximity alarms and the Mavic 3's braking distance.

This technology helps you pilot without stress by automatically rerouting the Mavic 3's flight plan around obstacles.

You worked hard in piloting a successful mission, so avoid the hassle of bringing the Mavic 3 home by using DJI's advanced return-to-home feature. Engaging this ability lets the Mavic 3 automatically plan and fly an optimal route home, saving time and power.

Intuitively control the Mavic 3 with twin thumbsticks, a large built-in display, solid signals thanks to quad antennas, and DJI's O3 transmission technology. The display offers 1000-nit brightness that supports use in even direct sunlight, and a built-in mic provides clear communications. To help further expand your piloting and data collection abilities, you can use the RC Pro Enterprise with a robust set of software. The data from these apps and your flights are protected through a variety of methods, such as a local data mode, the ability to clear all data with a tap, and robust AES-256 video transmission encryption.

  • DJI Pilot 2: An enterprise flight interface that lets you control the drone and payload controls with a tap. DJI Pilot 2 also provides telemetry and navigation information.
  • DJI FlightHub2: Manage your drone, or fleet of drones, via the cloud with live annotations, mapping, route planning, and more.
  • DJI Terra: Mapping software for all stages of your work, from mission planning to processing 2D/3D models.

  • PSDK: Unified interface for expanding the Mavic 3's capabilities through third-party hardware.
  • MSDK: Mobile SDK 5 helps simplify the development of apps for the Mavic 3. It's open source and comes with production code samples of core DJI Pilot 2 modules.
  • Cloud API: Using DJI Pilot 2's built-in MQTT-based protocols in DJI Cloud API, you can directly connect the drone to third-party cloud platforms without app development. You can access the Mavic 3's hardware, video livestream, and photo data.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. hi this popped up on a google search for "Mavic 2 remote" - is it compatible with the mavic 2 pro or just the mavic pro ? thanks

A: No, they work off different systems

Q: 2. Can I charge my Mavic air battery with these or does there is a special one for the mavic air?( i couldnt find one in B&H)

A: I am afraid not. This charging cable is for the DJI Mavic 2 battery packs only.

Q: 3. What are the approximate dimensions and weight of this item?

A: The piece is approximately 6x5x3” and weighs 1.5 pounds. I wish it packed smaller for travel, but it does work well.

Q: 4. From the specs, Not all features are available on all operating systems. I'm interested in using this on a Mac with Sierra for 3D work with Cinema4D, Modo, Zbrush. What features are not supported?

A: The manufacturer does not provide that specific information.

Q: 5. How is the support for Premiere, Photoshop, and Lightroom on this product?

A: While this device is almost infinitely customizable, I really wouldnt recommend it for photo editing apps. Its intent is CAD programs where you will inuitively maniuplate a CAD model like you would if you were holding it in your hand. Most of the hard buttons are labeled for CAD apps, so even though you can reprgram them, they wont be intuitive. Im a photographer also, and I do not use this device for photo apps, only at work with CAD modeling programs.

Q: 6. Will the spotlight and speaker also fit in the carry bag?

A: yes

Q: 7. does the Dji Mavic Remoe Controller work with the Mavic Pro Platinum?

A: Yes, the Mavic Pro and Platinum share a controller.

Q: 8. Does the DJI Remote Controller for Mavic Pro Quadcopter Works with the Dji Mavic Pro Platinum?

A: Yes it will.

Q: 9. is this the battery for Mavic Pro 1?

A: Yes

Q: 10. Can you please explain why this is better/safer than plugging the included charger into a 12V AC inverter?

A: Please use the recommended DJI accessories to avoid damage to your DJI aircraft.
