I have carried a stream light for years and was always missing the ability to light up a control panel when troubleshooting in a dark hole. I would have a headlamp but those tend to blind the people around you. So I got a magnetic light but always forgot it somewhere either in my toolbox or where I was working. This light does both! It’s perfect and is just slightly heavier than my old light. I use it daily at work. Have only had it a few week but have used it multiple times a day and have yet to need to charge/change the battery. Excellent product! This we the first of many purchases I’ll will be making.

Excellent pocket light! Stows easily in the backpack taking up hardly any room. Bright beam makes it perfect to conduct inspections in dark spaces. Comfortable and light to hold with good grip.

I got this little light shipped today and I LOVE it! I have not tested actual battery life, but it is not meant to be a work light or has lamp, it's an inspection light. That being said, the light output is amazing for the size. It is small in size, but the LED's in this dynamo are fantastic. I did a basic garage test to see how well it lit and the C. O. B. Was great... The white LED bar and red were fantastic. Take a look at the pictures and ask yourself if you need more light than that... from a tiny package like the G23.

Very bright works good in the small areas I say buy it

This light will not replace my trusty A8R and A9R, but as another reviewer said, it has great potential. It is more rugged than the other two and has the awesome COB feature which is stunningly bright. I also really appreciate the red COB light as I am often working at night and don’t want to destroy my night vision.

What it lacks as compared to the A8R/9R is brightness and clarity of the inspection light. I also miss the easy recharge-ability. The A8R/9R inspection lights beat it in these areas IMO, but neither one of them have the C.O.B. feature, so it is really not a fair comparison. I’m looking forward to the availability of a rechargeable battery because in the past, the Li-ion cells have out-performed alkaline and give a brighter beam. The new Zithion-X battery will hopefully be available soon.

Another great feature is the very strong rare-earth magnet pocket clip. It easily holds this light in any position when you need to be hands-free. To have this feature on such a small inspection light is a real plus.

This light is a tremendous value for the money. I am continually amazed how Coast is able to produce such consistently good products for such a low price. And their range of products is astounding. In a relatively short period of time, they have become my main go-to source for all my portable lighting needs and when you add a lifetime warranty on top of that, they’re very hard to beat.

This little flashlight right here has becone my favorite. I hang it from the collar on my shirt to see in ftint of me with its huge side light. With a little twist of the clip it rotates 360 degress. But wait theres more. Also attached to the clip is a magnet. This is great under the hood and many other places. It truly goes a long way. I bought the combo with the rechargeable battery best decision i ever made.

We love it especially my Wife she is recovering from eye surgery so its been great for her at work !!

The G23 is a great multitask inspection light that fits easily on a tool belt or shirt pocket and with the slightly larger clip will fit nicely inside a pant pocket for more formal occasions I sometimes need more light to read small print and the led side bar is perfect. With just a little bit of practice, you can use it discreetly in any situation. While the length may be longer than a pen light, it makes it a perfect size to grab quickly.. My wife wants one for her purse and that speaks greatly to its easy retrieval.

this is my first coast light and this light can do it all you can use it as a normal flashlight and then use it when you need a nice floodlight for work. The magnetic tail clip is super handy if you need a light that is light enough and small enough to e.d.c but powerful enough to do it all this is the one to get
