Haida Drop-in Nd Filter For M10 Filter Holder (9-stop)

$267.30 $392.93

This Drop-In ND Filter for M10 Filter Holder from Haida provides a 9-stop exposure reduction across the entire image area, allowing a wider aperture or slower shutter speed than normally required to be used. Using a longer shutter speed makes it possible to increase blur to convey a sense of movement, or to dial in a video camera frame rate. Increased density also makes it possible to shoot using wider lens apertures, helping you to shoot with shallow depth of field.

This drop-in filter is made specifically to fit the Haida M10 Filter Holder System. It is constructed from optical glass for clarity and color fidelity, and does not affect the color of the image. To prevent internal ghosting and reflections, each glass surface includes 10-layers of anti-reflection multicoating. The additional nano coating provides an improved beading effect when the surface comes in contact with water or oil, allowing for easier cleaning.

This filter is designed specifically for photography applications. This filter is not suitable for direct solar viewing with the naked eye, including with optical viewfinders.

Q: 1. Will K&F X-Pro square filters in holders fit (about 111 mm x 142 mm with holder)?

A: Yes, the Haida Filter Pouch for Six 100mm Filters and One Holder (Black) should accommodate filters that are 111 x 142mm.

Q: 2. Will other 150mm CPL filters, like the one from Nisi and Benro, work on this?

A: The Haida M15 Filter Holder Kit for Sony 14mm Lens can use square polarizing filters like these, https://bhpho.to/3PDdfU8 . For a round one it only works with the one made by Haida.

Q: 4. Is there a version of the drop-in filter mount that adopts PL lenses to RF?

A: This Fotodiox adapter is for PL lens to Canon RF camera and it has a built in ND filter. The filter is not drop in though. There isn't a version with drop in for that combination. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1486458-REG/fotodiox_pl_eosr_ndthrtl_cine_vizelex_nd_throttle_lens.html

Q: 5. Can it be used together with other adapters for EF to GFX?

A: Yes, mounting is possible when using more than one adapter. However, from our tests, the results have been wildly variable - from inoperability to semi-operability based on the make of the adapter, the firmware versions employed by lens, camera, and adapter, etc. As such, we cannot fully endorse such a combination.
