Q: 3. Just purchased the PMHMS20 headset mic. Have been unable to use so far due to the fact of the 4 pin mini-xlr. What adapter do I need to purchase to make this mic compatible w/ standard XLR?

A: You need the Laird Digital Cinema Premium 3-Pin Standard XLR Male to TA3M 3-Pin Mini XLR Male Audio Adapter B&H # LARD1XMTA3M MFR # RD1-XMTA3M which B&H has for under $5, and the device you plug into needs phantom power

A: Although we are unable to test to fully confirm, the Pyle Pro PMHMS20 Omnidirectional Headset Microphone for Shure Wireless Transmitters uses the appropriate TA4F connection for use with the MiPro ACT-7Ta Wideband UHF Bodypack Transmitter and has a good chance of compatibility with this wireless system.

Q: 7. Polsen cardioid is compatible with Zoom H4?

A: On its own, the Polsen Cardioid Lavalier Microphone with 3.5mm Locking Connector for Sennheiser and Polsen UWM Transmitters is not compatible for direct connection to the Zoom H4n Pro, however, it can be used with an adapter to enable compatibility. The RODE VXLR+ 3.5mm TRS Female to XLR Male Adapter with Phantom Power Converter (B&H # ROVXLRP) will attach to the locking 3,5mm connector on the Polsen mic and enable connection via XLR, as well as to convert phantom power (48V) from the H4n Pro to the proper amount of plug-in power fo the mic.

Q: 8. Is it compatible with Rode wirelless go II?

A: This mic has a 3,5mm locking connector so it may not connect properly or securely to the input on a Rode Wireless GO II transmitter. It would be better to use a different mic that has a standard non-locking 3.5mm connector, such as the Polsen OLM-10 (B&H # POOLM10) or Polsen PL-4 (B&H # POPL4) to assure compatibility and prevent problems like having the mic accidentally disconnect or create noise from improper connection at the input.

Q: 9. Can this be plugged directly into a standard video camera's 3.5mm audio-in port?

A: The Polsen Cardioid Lavalier Microphone with 3.5mm Locking Connector for Sennheiser and Polsen UWM Transmitters uses a locking connector, so depending on the layout and placement of your camera's audio jack, it may obstruct full contact.
