Quickly outfit your business's outdoor spaces with fast and reliable wireless connectivity by integrating the Aruba AP-575EX Wireless Dual-Band Hazardous Location Outdoor Access Point into your network. Designed for the extreme indoor and environments that may include flammable gases and liquids, this Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) access point features Class 1 Division 2 and ATEX Zone 2 certification in addition to being IP67 rated against weather and dust. Its powerful 5 dBi internal omnidirectional antennas deliver up to 5375 Mb/s transfer speeds over the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands and support up to 512 clients per radio. OFDMA and 4x4 MU-MIMO technologies help to maintain strong, efficient connections with compatible devices.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. are these devices compatible outside the US?

A: Yes, the Ubiquiti Networks UAP-AC-M-PRO-US UniFi AC Mesh Wide-Area Outdoor Dual-Band Access Point are capable of being used outside of the US.

Q: 2. how are the remote mesh APs powered? since they are connected wirelessly, there's no PoE. Where I need a wireless AP, theres no power, but I could use solar powered battery if there I can use an low voltage adapter to power the mesh AP.

A: A PoE adapter is included. The draw is 9w Max.

Q: 3. How do I secure the open port on the AP when mounted outside? I feel this is a way for someone to hard wire connect and access my network unauthorized.

A: You could use RJ45 locking plugs. If your worried about the physical access you might need to reconsider the AP location as it can simply be disconnected and a attacker could then have a direct wire in.

Q: 4. is a mount included in the box?

A: There is a wall/pole mount included with the Ubiquiti Networks UAP-AC-M-PRO-US UniFi AC Mesh Wide-Area Outdoor Dual-Band Access Point BH #UBUAPACMPRUS.

Q: 5. can you attach a switch to the secondary port? I am interested in daisy chaining a few APs and then placing a small network switch at the end of the line for a few hard-wired devices.

A: Yes, you can attach a switch to the secondary port on the BH #UBUAPACMPRUS.

Q: 6. How many UniFi devices can be daisy chained together?

A: The manufacturer has not specified how many of the Ubiquiti UAP-AC-M-PRO-US UniFi AC Mesh Wide-Area Outdoor Dual-Band Access Point can be daisy chained in a network.

Q: 7. Can I use this to replace a UAP-AC-M-US? I understand that it is larger and would perhaps have more range.

A: Yes, you can use Ubiquiti Networks UAP-AC-M-PRO-US UniFi AC Mesh Wide-Area Outdoor Dual-Band Access Point BH #UBUAPACMPRUS to replace the UAP-AC-M-US. The Pro model does have better range but it is much larger so I would keep that in mind.

Q: 8. Can I place this inside a closet facing an outside wall with drywall, fiberglass, plywood and vinyl siding going to pole barn 150' away?

A: I would not recommend mounting the TP-Link CPE510 5 GHz Wireless-N300 Outdoor Access Point in a closet. If you are running Etheret wire to the closet anyway, I recommend that you drill a hole through the wall and mount the Access point on the outside of the building.

Q: 9. where should this be mounted on a wall? Are there anything to consider when mounting on a wall? Any location issues? Should it be on a flat wall with no other walls near it or can it be mounted anywhere?

A: It will come down to your specific space, building materials, etc. Please reach out to us at pc@bhphotiovideo.com so we can discuss further and make recommendations.

Q: 10. Does this have a dedicated mesh band?

A: No, the Ubiquiti Networks UAP-AC-M-PRO-US UniFi AC Mesh Wide-Area Outdoor Dual-Band Access Point BH #UBUAPACMPRUS does not have a dedicated mesh band.
