This is way better than a standard neck strap. I'm not a professional in any way, but this is a great strap for carrying a camera while wandering around on vacation or exploring when you're not planning to carry a bag of gear. I picked up a set of the XL uni-loop connectors, and the combo allow the camera to ride comfortably, and hand down on my hip around hand level. This allowed me to cup the camera when walking. The camera doesn't move much anyway, so if you're walking where there aren't a lot of obstructions, or just standing around, you can just let it hang freely. The neoprene does hold your shirt somewhat, so you have to adjust on occasion, but no where near as annoying as a normal neck strap always pulling at the neck of your shirt. Would definitely recommend this product.

I'm glad I bought this camera strap. I always like to carry my camera cross-body (over one shoulder, camera hanging opposite side near waist), and this sling-type strap fills the bill. It is Super-Comfortable - you hardly know it's there - and well-made. I bought the X-Large so I would be sure to have enough length, and it's perfect for me. I'm 5'10 tall, 44 chest, and I have plenty of adjustment room. The adjustment mechanism for this strap is quick, easy and non-slip sturdy. Also, an added benefit: works great as a Strap-Pod to help steady camera for hand-held shooting. Like others who have reviewed this strap, I connected it to the left camera lug, rather than the right. This keeps the strap out of the way for portrait orientation shots. I bought this to attach to an Op/Tech strap. It was able to attach to the padded part, so it can handle a thick-ish strap. It does the job well, holding my lens cap.

I was quite surprised by how easily it gave me full motion when I wanted to use the camera and how secure and confident it made me feel. I used the wrist strap on the other end of the camera which was fastened to my belt and held the camera close to my body. It stopped the camera from swinging out as Ii walked.

I purchased it for my Nikon D5500. I had a sling strap that was heavier but attached to the tripod mount. After a bit of research found that mounting a strap to a plastic body by the tripod mount puts to much stress on the plastic and is not the best way to mount any strap unless you have a metal body. Very comfortable even with my 16-300 Tamron lens mounted as this strap exceeds the weight of my camera with the lens. Had no use for the second clip attachment so I just tacked it with a thread out of the way. Worth the money for this type of strap.

I had been looking for a sling style neck strap for some time. But most of them will not work with my Kirk L bracket attached. I happened to be in New York for a few days and wondered over to my favorite store. You guessed it...BH. A nice young lady noticed that I was not finding what I wanted and asked if she could help. I explained the problem and that was when she pointed out this sling. She said it should solve my problem. And it did. Wish I knew her name so I could say thanks!

The OP/TECH strap-sling is very comfortable on my shoulder and takes the weight of a Nikon D500 off my neck. It is just the right length for me and I like the way the camera hangs to my side, not bumping me as I walk. Love the fact that it attaches on the side of the camera which frees up the tripod screw for my dedicated tripod quick-release plate.
