Along with the many legendary high-gain amps in this rig library, one very special model stands out: the WEM Dominator. This combo amplifier is a rare creation of the British amp company known as Watkins Electric Music, and while the Dominator was underestimated in the '80s due to being not as loud as some of it's competitors, it is still widely regarded as one of the best sounding combo amps of all time.

With nearly unparalleled tone, the Dominator outperforms many other more famous amps in high-gain, rock-oriented applications. Now, this famous yet rarely seen amp can be experienced by anyone through the TAF 80s Hair High Gain rig library.

The TAF 80s Hair High Gain rig library was captured using numerous legendary high-gain amplifiers, some which are quite rare, for a wide variety of '80s hair metal flavors. The 21 amplifiers captured include:

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Would this hold a 5d mk 3 with a 50mm f1.2 on it?

A: Yes.

Q: 2. Would this work well with a battery grip equipped camera such as a Canon T4i or 5D Mark IV?

A: While it would work with both cameras it would not be able to work with the cameras battery grip unless you remove the handle of the edelkrone Pocket Rig 3.

Q: 3. Does it work for an 80A Polaroid

A: Unfortunately the film for the Polaroid 80A was discontinued by the manufacturer in 1980. There are no more films made that are compatible with your camera.

Q: 4. Do all of the 1/4" x 20 threaded mounts have metal inserts?

A: Yes, the 1/4-20 threads of the Ulanzi U-Rig Pro Smartphone Rig are all metal.

Q: 5. Does it function without the 15mm rod section attached? As in can it be secured to the camera and a tripod plate without the 15mm rod "block" in the middle? The pictures seem to imply this might work, but there are no clear views. My use-case would rarely need the rods, but the shoulder support/belt clip could be useful for a lot of inconspicuous run and gun work.

A: Yes. The 15mm rods can be taken out of its places.

Q: 6. Does this rig work with BMPCC 4K?

A: The following unity is ideally made for compact, Portable DSLR Rig. But will work with the BMPCC 4k unit.

Q: 7. Will this work in a Rollei 16s minature 8mm camera?

A: This film is for medium format cameras that use 120 (6cm) film. It will not fit a miniature 8mm.

Q: 8. Would this work with the Sony FS5? It's small and lightweight but the description only specifies DSLR cameras.

A: This combination is unknown. That being said, if it is made to be solid, it might be a very good, very compact chest support for the FS5.

Q: 9. Is this batch still made in the Belgium factory or some where else?

A: Country of origin is still Germany, has not changed for many years.

Q: 10. how does one get the the whited out foliage appearance and darkened sky appearance on this film? is it random? or is it more of an exposure trick?

A: You need an IR720 filter . That filter helps this film pick up that infrared wave length of light that will give the effects you asked about.
