I grabbed me the black leather handles and they are amazing. Soft grip but built with durability in mind.


Aesthetic feels really great, I like how the leather grip hugs and curves around your hands, very very comfortable.

I love these vocas handgrips. I wish I had got them sooner. I've had plenty of others including metal, rubber coated and plastic, and they just don't compare to these in both their feel and shape. It just feels right.

I use this with the vocus baseplate/shoulder mount and its top notch. Excellent quality, tough and lite. Does exactly what its supposed to. Going from tripod to handheld and back to tripod has never been easier. Oh, and the wooded handgrip is a pleasure to use.

For the football camera hold this piece of gear is perfect!

I decided to get this versus a more form-fitting grip because it's lightweight and easy to use as a lifting handle as well as a grip. The curve can be moved to allow positioning for either hand and up or down, and gives a more positive grip than a straight handle for me.

So it's only halfway to ergonomic, but for me simpler is better. The grip compresses enough to feel pretty comfortable while holding it tightly, and the curve allows support from beneath with a forearm or shoulder temporarily while you move the rig around.

Bought the Camvate handle shoulder mount to use with a Sony FS5 on a Smallrig shoulder pad. It's very well made and the grips are really comfortable . I recommend this product without hesitation. Thanks B&H!

I’m glad someone finally made this adapter. It’s easy to install and works great. I attach the grip to the FX9 body for use with my Easyrig. Perfect placement.

I think it would be great if this came with an adapter that converted the stock Sony hand to receive an ARRI rosette. Then, you could still use the stock handle if you wished. The benefit being that you could mount the grip to the body, the Sony handle, or any third party rosette extension arm. Otherwise, the Sony arm becomes useless.

Great form. Great build on the trigger switch. Fits my hand perfectly, and probably any hand for that matter. I use the handle when I go handheld with my Phantom Miro, and the trigger works great. Had to buy the accessory cable with a bare end, and put my own connector on it, no problem. Got it wet the first time I used it, and it roughed the wood up a little, but had no issues with the trigger. I'm also hoping a little more dry use will smooth the wood right back out. Overall great purchase, just wish I had bought it sooner.
