A: The main thing I can add to the great info that others have already provided, Kathy ...is to say that Gator's shock-mounting foam supports the ENTIRE perimeter of flat screens in sizes up to a maximum of 23 .The ingenious bit Greg D refers to is Gator's anchored Velcro strapping that firmly secures our screens face down on Gator's thin (but highly shockproof and scratch-preventing) removable flooring system ...which itself then combines with the monitor's entire face to form a lid over a separate accessory box that's framed by (and has its depth determined by) the thickness of that high density shock-mount foam.FYI, the accessory box of my G-MONITOR-GO22 currently contains my Samsung's wall wart plug pack, its remote control, a fat 10 metre HDMI cable, a 10 metre USB cable, sundry adapters (VGA, thunderbolt/mini display port, BNC etc) ...and a trackball.

A: I have a lot of confidence in the case but haven't flown with it. I would feel comfortable checking it as long as I added some extra, dense latex foam. If they throw anvil cases on top of it, you'd be in trouble because the large front and back sides are thin-ish plastic covered with strong cordura. The short sides and corners are very strong. I love the case but, again, haven't flown with it.
