Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can an Arca Swiss L-bracket be used on the supplied head?

A: An Arca-type L-bracket is compatible with the Neewer TP62 Carbon Fiber Travel Tripod with Ball Head.

Q: 2. Even w/ the diffuser I keep getting vertical lines in iphone photos. I have to turn the lights all the way down to reduce. Fix?

A: When using Neewer Tabletop Photo Studio Light Tent (24 x 24") with an iPhone the protective glass may cause reflections, which is not possible to remove unless you would use external top down lighting.

Q: 3. Will it work with my D850

A: Hi there! The Manfrotto 492 ballhead and tripod supports a total of 4.4lbs, so as long as your D850 and lens combination does not exceed that amount, it should work beautifully. However, when in use with the 259B extension column, it will reduce the overall stability slightly with such a large camera, so exercise a bit of caution.

Q: 4. What is the true load capacity? overview shows 22lb and specs show 10lb.

A: The legs in the Neewer TP62 Carbon Fiber Travel Tripod with Ball Head are rated for 22 pounds but the head is only rated to support 10 pounds.

Q: 5. Hi, I had Oben TT-100 table top mini tripod supplied with Oben BD-1, but recently I lost the ball head. But Oben BD-1 Ball head model is not available separately for sale. Now I want to purchase Oben BD-0 mini ball head. what is the difference between Oben BD-0 and Oben BD-1 model . Thanks

A: The main difference between the Oben BD-1 Mini Ball Head and the Oben BD-0 Mini Ball Head is the load capacity; the Oben BD-0 Mini Ball Head is stronger, supporting up to 6.6 lbs, while the Oben BD-1 only supported 4 lbs. The BD-0 is also lighter in weight. Otherwise, the two would be similar in size and performance.

Q: 6. Would this work for mounting a mirrorless camera vertically over a table to face directly down? I'm trying to figure out my film scanning setup, and I was wondering if this could be a cheaper alternative to a copy stand.

A: This would not be suitable for that purpose.

Q: 7. What is the internal diameter? Thanks!

A: The opening is 4 1/4" in the center

Q: 8. how much does it weigh without the tripod?

A: The manufacturer does not specify a weight with out the stand. With the stand it is about 0.7lbs.

Q: 9. Can you tell me the dimensions of the unit: height and the footprint? I'm trying to figure if it will fit on my shelf.

A: Unfortunately, the manufacturer was unable to provide the dimensions of this unit.

Q: 10. will this work for my canon 5d mark iv with 24-70mm lens? do i need something else or does it screw right into the base of the camera?

A: In most use cases this would be sufficient for a Canon 5D Mk IV with a 24-70 f/2.8 (approximately 3.5lbs), but on an uneven surface or at an angle, the resulting torque from the camera/lens combination might overpower the ballhead. With your specific combination, I would also advise against using the Manfrotto 259B extension as it would result in a very high center of gravity, making it prone to tipping over. The camera simply screws into the Manfrotto 492 ball head, but you could consider a quick release system like the Manfrotto 323 to simplify/speed up the mounting process: https://bhpho.to/39OdhHl
