A: The unique design on the Sony ECM-GZ1M zoom microphone makes it a challenge for a perfect fitting mic muff. There currently isn't a specific muff available for it. We do offer a decent option made by Cavision that is worth looking at. The SWJ225 in either 6 or 5 length; B&H# CASWJ2256, and CASWJ2255.

A: I'm using it on a Sony HDR-CX675 and have not ever had a hiss. I got it to block out HVAC noise and to be able to get the camera farther back from the subject. It has done both things really well.
