Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. will this unit work with the northern lights?

A: The Miops Camera Trigger with Cable for Nikon 10-Pin Cameras Kit, will work as a remote trigger with a camera mounted to a tripod, using the Miops app on a smart phone or tablet. If the Northern lights appear in short bursts of Photons, (light), one can adjust the sensitivity of the Miops to be triggered by a burst of light. It is important to raise one's ISO, and to shoot time exposures on the tripod.

Q: 2. will lightning trigger # LTE work with northern lights ?

A: When using the Miops Camera Trigger with Cable for Nikon 10-Pin Cameras Kit, if the Northern lights appear in short bursts of Photons, (light), one can adjust the sensitivity of the Miops to be triggered by a burst of light, even though the light will be less intense than lightning

Q: 3. Can you link two or more of these together?

A: The Vello 10' Remote Shutter Extension Cable for Nikon 10-Pin Connection has not been tested when linked with 2 or more extension cords. However if more range is needed, a wireless remote such as this Vello Micro would cover up to 328 feet: https://bhpho.to/2qRcBtr

Q: 5. Would this be recommended for heavier music? Especially with loud, guttural vocals?

A: Hi Mal, Absolutely! The LCT-240 is a very versatile mic that would work with vocals of any type.

Q: 6. What type of laser is best for this: red, green, IR...? And what class: 2, 3b...? I'd want a laser strong enough, but without damaging the sensor.

A: According to the manufacture the color of the laser does not make any difference. There is no specific power for the laser Miops recommends. It depends on the situation. If you are outside and it is bright you most likely need a stronger one than one that is used inside.I have seen it used with a low end one from a stationary store. Again it all depends on distance and the light outside.

Q: 7. is it durable for hard drives and also for electronics like hard drive and smartphones etc because it is airtight?

A: Extremely rugged. We use these at Safecast for housing thousands of sensitive sensors and electronics that our volunteers mount on cars, bikes, drones and have survived all levels of abuse and severe weather conditions. The real deal!

Q: 8. Is it possible to use this product photographing humming birds at a feeder using 2 flash units and a nikon d200. setup?

A: Yes the Nikon Miopis trigger kit with the 10 pin cable will work with the 200D and and flash units. You will need a trigger and receivers for your lights to fire them. And you can use the Mobile Dongle for iOS and Android should you want to use your phone to physically trigger the camera which will then trigger the lights.

Q: 9. Its this Miops Camera Trigger with Cable for Nikon 10-Pin Cameras Kit fir nokon d850?

A: Yes Miops Camera Trigger with Cable for Nikon 10-Pin Cameras Kit is compatible with the Nikon D850.

Q: 10. Will the Qumi Q6 fit in this particular box?

A: If that's the pocket projector that is 6.5 x 4 x 1.3 inches, then maybe. The interior dimensions of this case are 6.50 x 3.87 x 1.75 inches. The black rubber walls are flexible, so you may be able to squeeze it in. I would not suggest that though, I would get the 1050 or 1060 model. These are both slightly bigger which allow it to fit properly with added foam for protection.
