I have been searching for years to find a DisplayPort to HDMI converter that will work with my old 27 iMac (Late 2009). Every other active adapter I tried would only display a max resolution of 1080p and no higher. And for some reason other adapters would register the display as a TV rather than a monitor. But this active adapter actually works! It mirrors the iMac display at 1440p as well as many other options. Of course I had to use a miniDP to DP adaptor, but that's beside the point. Finally! A solution! 5
