This lens completes (unless I get tempted by a crazy new one) my collection. I have the 18mm, 35mm, 18-55 and now the 55-200. I was waiting for this for some time, and was able to use it to photograph a recently opened bridge that had been closed for over a year while being replaced. The detail, zoom range, and image quality is superb! Also, with the latest camera and lens firmware updates from Fuji, focus speed and accuracy is top-notch, with no complaints and very little room for improvement.

Sharp images of distant objects. A fine portrait lens.

This is my first experience with tele-photography, and I approached it with some trepedation. However, the ease of use for this beautifully made Fuji lens and the quality of the images obtained thus far have relieved my uncertainty, and I am finding that this lens remains on my XE1 more than any other. Though I am not able to speak to the technical attributes of this lens in a maeaningful way as I am still 'leaning', using this lens is a great encouragement to stay in school!
