Went from an LG monitor that was also ultrawide(no dead pixels). 2560 by 1080. It was a very good monitor. I bought it here. This one however blows it away. No dead pixels. Installed and it immediately was at the correct resolution in the NVIDIA control panel at 144 hz. Shows 10 bit panel and automatically set G SYNC. The colors in both movies and gaming are vibrant, just beautiful. There is no light bleed. This is the one to buy if are looking for a monitor and you can afford it. Check the online reviews. They are all positive. Not sure what else to say except, thank you Acer, and thank you B&H.

For real though, this thing is just overpowered. Running 180hz with Gsync is an absolutely wonderfully smooth sight, even when you aren't getting that high of FPS, and it's mostly due to just how fast the panel is.


Running testufo shows excellent pixel responsiveness, especially when compared to monitors half this price using a VA panel, and that's with Overdrive disabled none the less! (Disclaimer, OD is disabled with use of Adaptive Sync).


Colors and contrast (which is suppose to be a weak point of this monitor) just pops and look gorgeous even out of the box, it might be a tad on the warm side but otherwise this is a plug and play experience.


Not that I have any use for it, but the addition of USB-C for laptops to connect seamlessly, along with four USB-A 3.0 ports, class A connectivity right there. Speakers are...terrible, just awful, to be expected, but my only use case is if I'm showing a youtube video or the likes to a visitor, sooo they kind of work for that rare occasion.


Only two real flaws worth mentioning to me is the corners and their backlight bleed. This is my first IPS monitor, and I didn't really notice it right away, but even now I kind of only tend to notice it on boot and well, that's just because it's completely black in the corners. Second, I feel like Gsync doesn't work as good as it would if there was an actual module, I say this because as of right now, some games do not run as smooth as my old S2417DG, even at higher FPS. This could just be user error though, and if it puts you off from buying this monitor, try and find the X34S which is just a 100% Gsync version of this monitor. Me personally, I'll take Freesync and Gsync just so I'm not locked down GPU wise in the future.

This was my first ever ultra-wide purchase! And very first purchase from B&H too! From packaging to shipping! Top notch!! And the product itself ouuuuuwieeeeee best 1440p ultra wide in my opinion! G-sync monitor and a Smooth smooth IPS panel! For a really good price too! Can't beat that! Only with b&h

I only bought this monitor for the USB-C DisplayPort AltMode so that I can connect my work laptop to it and share my connected peripherals between my gaming desktop and my laptop. The display is great, I've never used HDR before but I am quite pleased with how everything looks. Wall-mounting was a breeze by adding some spacers between the mounting holes and the bracket.
The only complaint I have is the G-Sync compatibility of the monitor. I have a GTX1080 but the monitor's adaptive sync kept causing the screen to go black for a few seconds randomly when playing games that caused the refresh rate to dip too low. It's no longer a problem with adaptive sync disabled but I hope this issue goes away when I pair this display with a RTX4090. However, since it's not a G-Sync Ultimate monitor, I do not really care about the G-Sync compatible feature much.
Like other users, I would love to see a hotkey assignment for the USB Port Select as it is tedious to go through the menu each time I want to swap between my desktop and laptop but it's not a big issue for me.
Overall, it's a great monitor for a niche group of people and it sure saves a lot of cabling versus using a KVM switch and a USB-C hub.

It is an IPS panel so it's black level when playing dark games in a dark room is not super great. I'll take that over VA panel ghosting and blurring anytime though!

Coming from a very nice 1440p nanoips 165hz monitor, I was skeptical that I would be very impressed with this display. It’s taken a few years for the price of these displays to come down to a price I am comfortable paying, and I have to say that I have zero regrets. This panel is everything I hoped it would be. It’s taken my gaming setup from “very nice” to “finally complete.” My fiancé is not very technical and has been telling me she doesn’t need all the nice stuff I have for her setup, but she went from saying “I like my monitor” to “buy me one of those.”

The monitor gets very bright, bright enough to finally use and enjoy HDR. Gsync works flawlessly for me. The QC for my specific product was on point, I have no dead or stuck pixels. I only struggled with getting the plastic cover off the VESA mount. It requires a flathead screw driver and a little bit of pressure. Highly recommend this product, especially for the price.

I had the previous gen of this monitor, and I loved that one aswell. Great IPS screen, refresh rate, colors, etc. Quality build and all around great monitor for games and productivity. Bhphoto sent it overnight even though I chose the free option! I love this website! THANKS

I love this monitor. Ive had many gaming monitors in the past and this is by far my favorite crisp, bright, and amazing color accuracy.
