PVC Pipes are known to flex and break therefore you'd have to be extremely cautious about how and where you apply your supports. In addition to that, the heavier the payload the more cautious you have to be about how and where the supports are located. It is safest to use metal tracks if available at that distance.

To replace the flight case, I would recommend buying a PE1600FB Pelican case ($159.00) instead You'll have to carefully plan out how to put all the components in there but it does fit without forcing anything into the case.If you don't have rolling stands, I would suggest two A5012 3.9' Roller Stands 12 with Folding Base (Chrome-plated/) for $220.00 each. You'll appreciate the mobility. Finally, purchase a 10 ft standard metal pipe at Home Depot (about $10) and have them cut it in half and you're all set. Love the dolly. Quick and easy setup.
