Q: 1. will this be ok for a Leica M6 or M3 body?

A: Hi! I agree with previous comments, this is more for heavy things. But check out the OP TECH Super Classic Strap - Pro Loop instead. I use this for my binoculars, and it fits well with lighter equipment. I am not familiar with Leica M3 or M6, but from pictures I have looked upon, it seems the fixation points for the strap may have quite small holes. You may need to put some small key-chain rings of appropriate size into the fixed attachment points on the camera body, before attaching the pro-loop. But anyhow, the OP TECH straps are the best I have ever found out there, and my first strap for an heavy Photo Bag, is still in use after more than 10 years. I nowadays use them on all photoequipment and binoculars, it is just to find the right model. Good luck and I hope you find the one that suits your need.

Q: 2. Are the plastic parts of this strap resistant? Can't you break and drop my camera to the ground?

A: The plastic parts are extremely strong and can easily carry the weight of your camera. The quick disconnects have been tested with a tensile strength of over 148lbs .... not that we'd ever recommend that, but it goes to show the strength of our hardware used in the strap. Some plastics are considerably stronger than some metals. They've improved tremendously over the years. I noticed the community comment concerning the Canon CPS Strap. We also manufacture that strap and it's very strong and comfortable. It uses the same pad that is in our Utility Strap Series. I hope that this information is helpful. Cheers!

Q: 3. Would this work well with a Nikon D5500?

A: The Pro Loop Strap is a great option for the Nikon D5500. The loop attachments are very secure and the pad is designed to absorb the jolts of your movements while conforming to your neck and shoulders to effectively disburse the weight of your camera. Be sure to connect the male connector to the right side of your camera. This way the curve of the pad will be in the correct position. Thanks for considering our products.

Q: 4. Which strap would work better as sling strap: Pro Loop Strap or Utility Strap? Would any of them feel better than the other one?

A: The Utility Strap will not accommodate SLR or digital cameras on the market they are made more for bags and etc. The pro loop is designed for cameras of all sorts.

Q: 5. Does it really say Op/Tech USA in big letters on the visible side, or is this just for the ads? I think I would love this if that weren't so visible.

A: Yup, fairly visible company lettering but then, made in the USA, inexpensive so why not support them by giving a little promo since they're charging so little for these. Most photogs will know Op-tech anyhow. We US consumers are a difficult bunch to accommodate: either it's too expensive, or we're unhappy about "advertising" for a small company, or any other host of complaints. One customer suggested using a "magic marker" to black out the lettering. While I don't know what a magic marker is, a felt-tip/flow permanent marker will also work if supporting those U.S. jobs bothers you that much.

Q: 6. Can this strap be used underwater?

A: According to the manufacturer, the Cam-Strap QD is not suitable for underwater use.

Q: 7. width of neoprene strap?

A: Pad Dimensions 1" x 14" Neoprene (2,5cm x 35,6cm) Webbing Width 3/8"

Q: 8. will this work with a samsung nx3000?

A: Unfortunately this strap will not work on your Samsung Camera. The openings on the side of the camera are very small. You can get D Rings then the strap will work. We don't carry this type of item, but you can get at a Hardware Store. They look like very small and thin key rings.

Q: 9. Are the connections with plastic loop connectors? Is it resistant? Can you break the clasp and release the camera?

A: The loops are actually made with 1/4" tubular nylon webbing so that it's extremely strong and durable while still being flexible and easy to use. The quick release buckles are extremely strong and are tested at over 145 lbs. They can be removed from the main body of the strap by squeezing both sides of the buckle at the same time. This is ideal when doing tripod work and you don't want the entire strap hanging from the tripod. I hope that this information is helpful. Cheers!

Q: 10. Hi, will the connectors of this Cam Strap fit if my camera uses the OP/TECH USA Mirrorless Strap with Mini QD Connectors B&H # OPMLSTB ? Thanks.

A: Yes this should work fine with the clips on your OP/TECH USA Mirrorless Strap with Mini QD Connectors. They seem to be the same exact clip.

The wrist strap and the piece that goes on the cam seperates via plastic snap. The wrist strap is flexable bit wont stretch enouch to fall off your hand. Made of elastic foam layerd with fabric (polyester maybe). Gread product for the price ande made in USA! I use on my fujifilm x20 but can deff support a dslr.

I use this with my Nikon One camera. I got this for two reasons - 1) Stretchy, comfortable Neoprene band 2) Easy attach/detach system It's just what I wanted as it's easy to use and very comfortable even with the big 70-300mm lens attached. If your hands are XXL's it might be a tad snug.

i just bought 2 more of these straps for my 2 new Christmas Presents (point and shoot cameras)!!

But the only thing that is SOOOOO frustrating is the loops are too thick for both camera's strap slots!!
I've been trying/struggling over and over to push them through, but they won't go!! I give up. (Guess I'm gonna have to spend more money on the other, smaller, connectors? Siiiiigggggghhhhhhhhh................ohhh well...........).

Please don't misunderstand me? I AM GONNA KEEP THEM!! I LOVE THEM!! They're soft and strong, etc. I stil have one on my 12 year old Canon A640, that's still holding up fine.

Geeee, what more can I say?
Everyone on Earth should get these!!

Thanks so much for listening and caring. Please take care?
