A: This product is measured by chest size. The Large is for those with a chest size between 42 to 45 inches.

A: There is one more thing that bothers me somewhat about not just this particular vest, but other vest manufacturers as well. A: It's very lightweight. Of course that depends on what you put in the pockets. The upper (breast) pockets could be larger, but, no real complaints. My laptop fit's nicely in the back pocket.

A: I can't determine the size for you but I will say they run big. I am 5'4 and 125 pounds. I ordered a small because x-small were not available (and weren't for a year). Mine is too big-I have never worn it and wasn't able to return it when xsmall were in stock. Hope this helps.
