Q: 3. Is it possible to use this product as an external sound card? Specifically, I'd like to use it to connect it to my computer through USB and use it to get sound from my computer to my studio monitors. Is this possible?

A: The ART USB Mix can be used to playback audio from your computer via USB through the mixer. With a single button the USB audio is routed through channel 2/3 and output via the main analog outs.

Q: 4. Getting static and interference noise. When I unplug USB it stops?

A: A comprehensive test of every device in your setup would need to be done to determine where the interference noise and static is coming from. You could be getting RFI (Radio Frequency Interference) through the computer or computer monitor. If the noise is a ground loop, you may try the EBTECH HUMX which filters out unwanted voltage and current in the ground line that cause ground loop hum, while simultaneously maintaining a solid, safe ground.

Q: 5. Do you place the wedge foam on the lid or underneath the mixboard? Also, the velcro seems to be weaker than the weight of my mixboard, anyone else have problems with the mixer flopping around and pushing past the velcro wedges?

A: The foam goes under the mixer. To the best of my knowledge I havent heard of any issues with the Velcro moving around. You might want to get a few pieces of foam and fill any space around the mixer so it wont move .

Q: 6. Is there a something that can be attached to hold a laptop?

A: There is no specific laptop holder designed for the GLORIOUS Modular Mix Station; however, we do offer some laptop stands that can be positioned on the center of the desk such as the Ultimate Support LPT-1000QR HyperStation QR 5/8" Thread-Mountable Laptop / DJ Stand with QuickRelease Center Post (Black), B&H # ULLPT1000QRB.

I use this to play music over arena PA systems for kids hockey games. Works great as all we have available to us is an XLR mic, simply hook this up with an iPod/iPad and away you go. I always use it with a line out dock connector, NOT THE HEADPHONE JACK, and it works 100%. The gain adjustment on the line in is great for making sure the sound is not over powering. Excellent compact design.

I have been looking for a mini mixer to interface a 3.5 mm stereo source and a XLR mic input. This box is perfect! It is built well and sums both devices to a lowZ mic input and it has a Ground lift to boot.
