A: I shoot with a Mark iv and have the MF version of this lens. It's amazing for astrophotography. I use it primarily for this and landscapes.

A: no it can not. the differences in flange distances between the mounts makes this impossible the Sony E mount flange distance is 18mm the PL mount flange distance is 52mm, the lens is built to a 52mm flange distance and can not be changed to work on and 18mm flange. you can add an E mount to PL mount adapter to get the PL mount lens on an E mount camera.

A: So far, we have not heard any negative feedback on the AF performance of this lens on the EOS R when shooting video.
