The version II works with the Wimberley head v2 without a riser block, is made out of super reinforced plastic. It is also lighter and indestructible.

A: You can attach any tripod head to it. I have my Wimberly Gimbal tripod head directly attached to it. Some of my friends have risers attached to raise the head up slightly more.
