I had previously purchased the Azden wireless mic set here at B&H to use with my Canon HF200 camcorder (also bought here) and was pretty satisfied with the hand-held but less so with the lavalire. But then this mic came to my attention and I was intrigued. Long story short, it does a really nice job of delivering balanced and clear audio. Recently I've begun to plug the mic into my tiny Sony ICD-UX523 digital recorder (from you know where) which can be easily tucked away in a pocket of the speaker. (The Sony provides all the power required by the B3.) That way I have a direct, high-quality audio track in addition to the one picked up by the camera. This has come in very handy. It is a great upgrade to my g2 wireless love the sound

I produce commercial video for several heathcare clients. I'm improving my sound set-up with new B3 lav mics, the Sound Devices Mixpro and Senn wireless lavs. The B3 produces sharp, clean sound - maybe too sharp. Countryman includes three different caps that provide different sound signatures. I've yet to test all three. I'm hoping to find that sweet spot. So far, great mics for the money.

I bought this Countryman Mic as a replacement for a damaged microphone in a House of Worship. After reading many reviews about the poor quality and design of the mic that I was replacing, I discovered that I could buy this Countryman mic for about $50 more. We have another Countryman Mic of a different style which has been outstanding, and we were not disappointed when this one arrived. Not only is it well made and designed, but it also works flawlessly, and we got it from B&H at a lower price than it would have been from the manufacturer. The B&H Kit also included a couple of mounts that we would have had to pay extra for on other sites. I couldn't be happier about the product or the service from B&H.

We use this mic for preaching, it is great for quiet female voices that can not have the mic centered on the tie due to clothing types. Low handling noise even though it has great audio pic up.

I love these Countryman lavs! I have 3 of them. 2 wired with XLR ends and the 3rd with a sennheiser locking 1/8 connector for use with my wireless setup. These are super great quality. Love the sound and build quality. Plus the product comes with really nice fabric protective case with a zipper. Well made, well constructed. And the mic isn't too big is size. Looks very nice in interviews.

I have been doing video shoots and interviews for several years. The audio has always been the thorn in my side. This mic has helped me bring reliability to my videos. It's small and easily hidden, not to mention the quality is top notch. Handling noise/rubbing noise is almost non-existant and really puts you at ease about recording with it. This mic has worked great with my Zoom H4N and Canon T4i setup. Amazing price, amazing product. Side note, I think it's pretty sweet that the cord is covered in kevlar. Just in case you've got a dangerous shoot - no worries, the mic cord is bullet-proof ;-)

I use this mic to replace my old AT831CW. I use it with my ATW311 body pack. I just love this mic. The soud is very great. The mic is very little and easy to install. And there is 3 capsules with different paterns in the package. Very good deal.

I got this mic to complement my Senheiser G3 Kit I use mostly as backup or when doing interviews without a soundperson. This mic is a massive improvement over the included lav in my Senheiser G3 kit. The far tighter low end and clarity even when hidden under clothing with the optional high frequency caps. I also notice considerable improvement in handling noise which is always an important consideration with lav's.
