But, the glass is designed for the crop frame sensor and I'd expect many issues on the edges (softness, heavy vignetting, off distortions) which would never be in the image on the crop frame it's designed for.The A7 probably has a function to automatically crop the sensor to APS-C size in the menu. But then it'll have a cropped view similar to a 30mm (guessing about 16 Megapixels).
